  1. I have a desk full of old PC parts. Would love to make a retro build but I honestly do not know where to start lol.
  2. A Friend of mine is sceptical about Zen 2, not because VRM limits but because of Power states, "Chipset instructions" and "commands". If, in my case ASUS, promises compatibility, I assume everything will just work right? Even all those things he mentioned? I don't even know what those things mean, but if anyone can fill me in on if it works, that'd be great :D. Thanks in advance

  4. Yeah, switching coolers, sorry if that was unclear.
  5. I mean, that, if I use my new cooler’s backplate, I’m unable to install the retention mechanism.
  6. Since the previous backplate, that I’m now switching out, held the retention mechanism in place, is it possible to have just the cooler hold the CPU in place? Thanks in advance. Teun
  7. Hey, I was looking and can’t find anywhere what the clearance is. I have found that the clearance of the Dark Rock Pro 4 is 40,5mm. Is it the same for the non pro version? - Teun
  8. How’s the build coming along?
  9. You’ll have to tell me the thermals after you’ve done some testing. I could get a Gelid Phantom as that’s already black and a fan to that.
  10. That looks really nice. Was the cooling performance affected?
  11. Ooh I like both of those, and nice budget friendly. Thanks a lot!
  12. i7 3770, generic OEM DDR3 2x4GB, FD Focus G. About 70 max.
  13. It doesn’t have to be RGB, I just want it to look good with RGB case fans. I’ll take it into consideration!
  14. I could deal with that. Instead fo the rainbow puke Cooler Master MA410M. I’d be very willing to do CAM if NZXTs fans weren’t so terrible. Or do any other manufacturers use it?
  15. Yeah I was looking at those too, very nice, but probably out of my budget. I was thinking more 50-70€. The H100i Platinum RGB is 120€, btw. So might be doable, but I’m trying to keep it semi-budget.
  16. Good evening! I was wondering what would be a good, neutral looking CPU cooler? I was looking at the Dark Rock 4, is that okay for RGB? I am planning on investing in the Corsair iCUE ecosystem. Maybe you know another good CPU cooler? Thanks in advance! -teun
  17. nice. I think I'll still be going for the Focus G.
  18. might be true but still lightyears ahead of HDDs.
  19. -sold only one place for 80 euros. hooray netherlands
  20. actually a could use the fans that come with the case for that... and put them on the botton where itll do nothing... thanks
  21. small issue with that though... this is the pins the fan uses
