  1. From the benchmarks I've seen, there's not much difference between the 4790k and 83xx at 4k, since it's so GPU heavy. There's not a ton of benchmarks out there though, so take it with a grain of salt.
  2. Dell P2715Q is the best value IMO. It's a bit smaller than what you're asking for, but 27"/28" 4k is fine with scaling in Windows 10.
  3. He's running it on a 400W PSU, can't remember his name though. 500 watts is perfectly fine, maybe go 550 watt for overclocking headroom/future upgrades/power supply degradation. A stock 390 uses ~250 watts in games, and a stock 6600k uses like 65 watts.
  4. It's fine for a stock cooler under a stress test, but I'd recommend getting an aftermarket cooler, especially if you want to overclock (which you should with a -k CPU).
  5. They will very likely cost the same amount as current cards. I would also recommend waiting as well if you want to max out every game at 4k. Two 980ti's will do the job very well for most current games, but for future games, I doubt they will.
  6. The 280 is >= 960, so it's really a no brainer to go with it instead.
  7. Should be fine assuming the PSU has all of the connectors. A single 980 uses 184W under gaming load. 184 * 2 + 70 (CPU) = ~438 watts for your main components at stock. 8. A 270x will be able to handle games like CS:GO at 1440p >100FPS, but not in demanding games. If you plan on upgrading your GPU in the relatively near future, I would get the 1440p 144Hz. 1080p on a 1440p monitor usually won't look very good, but 1440p looks a lot better than 1080p.
  9. His CPU is better than an FX-4350 though. That said, the bottleneck is going to be really huge at 1080p, and you should get a new CPU ASAP @OP (You'll still get a performance gain in most games though.)
  10. The AMD GVR is quite good in my experience for recording, but I haven't tested Shadowplay to compare. I would definitely get the 380 though, it's objectively better than the 960.
  11. 390 is a lot better than a 7970, but if you don't need the performance, it wouldn't be a bad idea to wait.
  12. I edited my post, "The numbers come one after another, and they all add up to 8." The integer 5 comes after the integer 3, 3 comes after 1, 1 comes after -1, assuming you can only have odd numbers. It wants four consecutive integers that add up to 8, and -1, 1, 3, 5 add up to 8.
  13. -1, 1, 3, 5? The numbers come one after another, and they all add up to 8.
  14. Because people will buy it anyways and they won't have to spend money creating another cooler.
  15. They have similar drivers these days, and those two cards trade blows at 1080p (and the 390 is better at higher resolutions). The thing is, the 390 has twice the vram, so there's not much reason to go with a 970. Sure, right now you don't really need >4GB vram, but you probably will in the near future. Also, the 390 might perform a lot better in DX12 titles, but we're not sure yet.
  16. What games are limited by 6GB vram at 4k? (it doesn't count if you turn all the ridiculous settings up and both cards get 15fps anyways.)
  17. 980ti SLI to (nearly) max out every game. SLI 980's would be fine if you were okay with turning down the settings a bit or play older games.
  18. I don't think you are, but this seems like the kind of thing you'd want to bring up to your doctor if it's seriously affecting your life.
  19. Talk to your doctor about it, they may be able to help you.
  20. Yup, about 20 watts more https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_980_Gaming/23.html
