  1. Wondering if anyone has a solution for a local only deployment? I've essentially setup home assistant to handle notifications for me at this point, but it would be great to use the normal protect app...
  2. I'm able to launch the games in desktop mode and am able to see the games in the library when in game mode but when I try to launch, it just says launching and nothing happens -_- Edit: after regenerating the preview list, I'm getting the same issue you are
  3. I hate when my nipples get cracked or dirty... it's the worst!
  4. I'm definitely in for the replacement sticks, seems like a no brainer!
  5. So besides the application in the video, what else can this be used for? I need to decide whether or not to cancel a drunk purchase...
  6. Hello Friends, I was wondering if anyone knew that panel Asus uses in the VG278Q display? I figured I would give repairing a panel a whirl to save some money. Thanks for your input!
  7. Yeah I was hoping for a teardown video but there are none so far. At least then I could compare things a little
  8. Didnt even think of that Hopefully someone says yolo and does it anyway and reports back
  9. I have the 2017 model (G3-571-77QK) and saw the 2018 comes with a 144hz display. Does any one know if I can swap my screen with the 144hz one from the 2018 model??It looks like the 2018 model has a new cooling system (aeroblade metal fans) as well. Anyone know if these are interchangeable? Thanks!
  10. I did this swap on my Helios 300 (G3-571-77QK) I did some research and found this acer thread which mentioned that the N156HHE-GA1 screen worked 100% (even the screen brightness hotkeys work!). This one does 94% gamut and of course is 120hz as well. Initially my laptop wouldnt give me the option to change refresh rate but after a couple of reboots, it automagically switched to 120hz. I actually bought the screen on ebay for $100... I was ok paying extra for the brightness controls... Hope this helps someone!
