Hi there
I am building a NAS with 10gbe base-t for backups of large amounts of data at a single time. This server will have 3 clients max at any one time.
Would the following be ok. I understand that the spinning drives will not be able to transfer at 10gbe speeds, however i want this to be the only bottleneck.
both hdds will be in a single raid 1 and the ssds in a seperate raid. thus crating two shares. I know that the hardware is on the old side but its pretty cheap and reliable.
Also have the a similar setup at home with standard gigabit network providing 120mb/s linux to widnows clients
