Hey guys long time lurker first post. So just a quick idea of what I'm looking at is building an all out gaming system.
Budget: At this time I don't really have a budget. With my current build I'm looking at $4k+.
Aim: As I said above I'm looking to just build a crazy gaming show piece.
Monitors: I plan on having at minimum 2 monitors and most likely 3.
Peripherals: I haven't decided on any certain keyboard/mouse items, opinions on these would be appreciated. I lean more towards non-tactical keyboards but willing to look into them depending on look and feel. As for monitors I already have an Acer Predator Gaming X34 Pbmiphzx as my main and a LG 27UK650-W as a secondary/console monitor. If I go the 3 monitor route I'll probably buy a second LG for continuity, but again advice would be welcome on different monitor options.
It's been about 6 years since my last build and while I love my Alienware 17 R4 (I travel a lot so I needed a decent mobile platform), I want to have a nice clean battle station at the house. I'm trying for a white themed build.
Now that I got that out of the way here's the list for my current build.
Case: Phanteks Evolv X Galaxy Silver
CPU: AMD 2nd Gen Ryzen Threadripper 2950X
Motherboard: GIGABYTE X399 Designare EX (rev. 1.0)
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3600
HD: Primary - SAMSUNG 970 PRO M.2 2280 512GB (Operating System/Drivers, and the few games I play the most)
Secondary - Samsung MZ1LV960HCJH 960GB
PSU: CORSAIR AXi Series AX1200i
GPU : Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti FE
I also plan on installing a water cooling kit and replacing all fans with Corsair Mag Lev PROs (120s/140s) where needed.
Water Cooling system setup:
RayStorm Neo Water block Chrome
XSPC FLX PVC Tubing 3/8"ID (5/8' OD)
Non-conductive coolant - I'm still a little undecided on this as there are varying opinions on pre-made fluids or just using distilled water with a biocide additive.
XSPC AX 420 Triple Radiator
XSPC D5 Photon 270 Reservoir/Pump Combo V2
I have future plans of adding a GPU water block into the system but that would come after initial build.
Let me know what y'all think any advice/opinions would be helpful.
