  1. I have a G PRO X SL2 and starting today I have been having issues with it constantly disconnecting or rather stuttering very badly and saying "inactive" on g hub. It happens in most of the places on my mousepad and has been only really fully working when I'm right next to the dongle and even then is still breaking. I tried my Finalmouse Starlight Tenz to see if it would work or have any issues and even from the other side of my room I don't have any stuttering whatsoever. My headset (Nova pro wireless) has been having some weird moments of audio glitches as well today, they have happened in the past but just very mild and not too big of a deal to me but now its happening pretty commonly and last a good few seconds. I've also experienced the headset stuttering at a point for no reason and only fixing when I turn it off and back on, this only happens once every few days or maybe once a week and isn't the biggest deal but would be nice to fix also if possible. I'm not sure what could have happened to cause these problems since I haven't changed anything from yesterday or even a week ago to today. If anyone knows a fix for any of the problems that would be greatly appreciated. Also to mention after the issues started today and nothing was fixing them I decided to try and see if updating to Windows 11 would help at all since I've been sitting on that for a while but it didn't do anything.
  2. I have a Asus VG259QM 280Hz monitor and whenever I play Valorant I experience stuttering and some screen tearing, with my old computer I used to experience stuttering when I would have all 3 of my monitors plugged in and it would only go away temporarily when I would tab out and back into the game. In order to fully fix it I would have to unplug my third monitor and it would go away completely which I was fine with doing since I didn't really use it when I was playing. I recently got a new pc about a month ago and this issue still persists only is worse this time around. Tabbing out doesn't really fix it at all and I've tried turning free sync both on and off, doing unlimited, 280, and 277 fps caps but I still get the issue. All my drivers are up to date both monitor and graphics etc, I have tried unplugging my third monitor as well on this pc and it doesnt fix the issue. This also only occurs on valorant unless I just dont notice as much on other games but I feel like I easily would be able too, so just valorant. my montiors are 280, 144, 60hz, the 60hz is the one I unplug. my specs are: r7 7800x3d 7900 xtx slightly oc/uv 32gb ram
  3. I was just using the Valorant preset on sonar for my nova pro headset and I have been using sonar for about a month now with no issues. As I was just in a comp game I noticed my monitor being weird so I went into my settings and changed my refresh rate. Once I did that however all the sound coming through sonar just stopped. I know valorant has audio issues like that sometimes so I restarted my game to try and fix it but that didn't work. Also to add my discord audio was still working during this only valorant having no audio. I then restarted sonar and my pc as a whole and still nothing working with it. has anyone else experienced issues like this with sonar? or know of a solution to this problem.
  4. I recently got a new pc and switched from a 2070 to a 7900 XTX graphics card so I figured I would switch software for clipping as well since I've had plenty of issues with GeForce Experience shadow play in the past. At first It worked great and I had no issues with it, then yesterday I was playing valorant and was trying to clip my game and noticed later on that none of the clips were there. When I went to the adrenalin software settings after, instant replay appeared to be off. Every time I try to turn it back on, it just instantly turns back off, I have no clue why it is doing this. I've seen some people say that turning desktop capture on fixed it or changing the fps value to 30 and back to 60 did it but none of these work for me. Has anyone else had this issue and know the cause of it and or any fixes thanks.
  5. Budget (including currency): around $3000 cad give or take a bit Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: MC, Fortnite, Valorant, Cod, Warzone, GTA V, plan on getting more. Other details (existing parts lists, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My current list consists of: Ryzen 7 7800X3D ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 B650 Aorus Elite AX Z5 neo 32gb 6000mhz cl30 4tb barracuda 2tb sn850x Lian Li 011 Dynamic or Hyte y60 (leaning on hyte y60 currently) Corsair RM850x (I think this is enough but not sure if I should just go for a 1000) 7900xt or 4070 ti based on what I have researched it seems the 7900xt is better in terms of what I would be using it for. Since I don't see myself using raytracing and its base performance is typically better. I also would consider the 7900xtx, but not sure it is worth the extra money for performance. I also am not sure which brands/models are best to go for on amd gpus. Upgrading from a 3800x and 2070 OC I play on 1080p 280hz I plan to buy sometime within the next 2 months
  6. same case it only shows the 280/240Hz options after I have done the nvidia control panel custom res and reset my pc
  7. yes lol yes im using display port as I said in my post, it does go to 280Hz but the past 2 days it is starting off in 144Hz and im having to go onto my custom res I have set that is in 280Hz then restart my pc then switch to native for 280Hz.
  8. Oh I forgot to include this but I have 3 monitors (280Hz, 144Hz, and 60Hz) all running through my 2070
  9. I have the Asus VG259QM monitor which goes up to 280Hz. However for the past 2-3 days every time I turn on my pc it's going down to 144Hz. This used to happen every once in a while in the past but I was able to just go to my Nvidia control panel and select my 1440x1080 280Hz custom res and then switch back to 1920 with it still being fine. But the past 2 days when I try this my monitor goes black and is unresponsive then once I hard shut down my pc and turn it back on I'm in that custom res and can then switch back to native and have 280Hz. This is just a temporary fix because I obviously don't want to have to go through this process every time I turn on my pc. Another weird thing I notice is that I don't even have a 240Hz option unless I have the 280Hz option is that normal and is there anyway to fix this problem?
  10. Sorry for the late reply I just saw it now and tried it and I'm still getting the same infinite loading screen. Any other ideas?
  11. I got the new SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro headset today and one of the main things that sets it apart from other headsets is the sonar application that goes with it inside of SteelSeries GG program. The problem is every time I try to open the program it is just stuck on a loading screen like this: I used to use the regular SteelSeries Engine program perfectly fine all the time a long time ago when I had the Apex Pro keyboard but stopped using it before they upgraded programs. I have already tried googling many different fixes and have tried things like: reinstalling the program running a clean boot (still gives loading screen) updating drivers updating windows simply said nothing works. Any suggestions or known fixes would help, thank you.
  12. I just got a new monitor (Asus VG259QM) and there are lots of settings that I have to go through. I'm not sure exactly what are the best for my specific pc or what really plays a factor into what settings I should use. I mainly play Valorant and typically am in the range of 240-280+ FPS sometimes dropping to like 200 but only happens on certain maps/ parts of maps. There's lots of settings that come into play with this of course but the first thing I noticed was right when I went to use the monitor I instantly felt like I had some sort of motion blur I'm not sure if I'm just seeing that or if its actually a setting I need to change? (I came from a 144 hz monitor and never experienced that same effect and this is a smaller upgrade than 60-144) The main things are should I leave it at 240 or overclock to 280 hz (I would like the overclock but if its gonna make my overall gaming experience worse than I'm fine with 240) What overdrive should i be using (20, 40, 60, 80, 100) I saw a thread somewhere else about the main 2 being 60 and 80 but I'm not sure which I should be on Adaptive-Sync (I presume should be on) ELMB Sync (This setting I'm unsure of not sure if its good to have on or off currently it is off) Thank you.
  13. Not sure if this should go here or not because its an iPad not PC but not sure where else it would go. So my girlfriend got a new headset today (HyperX Cloud Flight) and when she uses it normally the audio is perfectly fine. When she goes onto a discord call with it though all audio only goes through the left ear, I originally thought it was just something buggy with calling but we tested skype and snapchat calls and they work fine. Any possible solution for this?
  14. it is an issue with my internet it always cuts out and its cause of the motherboard, I've talked to some people about it and they have all said to update it and stuff but I have already made sure it is up to date and ive tested on my old pc at the same time it goes out and doesn't on there either. Also tested with other ethernet cables.
