ShortCircuit is growing rapidly and it's always useful to get you our loyal viewers' suggestions on what we should be on the lookout to cover on the channel or even categories we haven't even thought about!

One big item is that the suggestions should be tech-related.

Highly interested in a video on the Genki Waveform, a set of wireless earbuds designed for gaming, with a unique feature that allows it to simultaneously connect to 2 devices enabled by the case being a Bluetooth receiver+transmitter that can mix in a USB or 3.5mm audio source. It's meant to fix not being able to talk to your friends while gaming on your Switch. They also market being the lowest latency earbuds, ANC, and even some "audiophile" specs.

That's right, your wireless earbuds can now have more headphone jacks (technically it's USB-to-3.5) than an iPhone.

It's a Kickstarter product (campaign ended, going into production), but the company has made many great products in the past that I've personally used, like the Covert Dock (Switch dock in a wall wart), and ShadowCast (tiny HDMI capture stick). They also gave Switches Bluetooth support before Nintendo oh-so-graciously enabled it for us.

I backed the campaign as well, but I haven't seen any reviews or anything. This thing is just really cool (if it's good), so I hope you guys can get your hands on a some and check em out. Let's give Apple even MORE competition!

There was a recent discussion asking why LTT doesn't cover Garmin Smartwatches, might not be enough for a fully fledged LTT review but might be interesting to cover some smart watches on Short Circuit if that's something anybody on the team has an interest in.

Mostly credit lenders or credit score primarily is based on your history of being able to pay back loans. Since it's the next day it usually looks favorable as Extra takes the entire history and submits it to credit reporters at the end of each month.

We'll ask about the age of the loans on our next meeting with them, you bring up some awesome points!

The one item I didn't explain too thoroughly is that when you sign up, they link up to your bank account and see your balance. Based on that, they create spending limits, or buckets is what they call it, which will prevent you from overspending through Extra or what you're able to pay back.

From our conversation, that's how they're making money. Not all start-ups are profitable, heck look at Amazon's history! We are able to talk to their executives to get a clearer picture, but their key focus is growth, like any company.
Extra acts as a lender with its super quick loans. Since it makes it look like you pay it back almost immediately, they have a sort of credit history with you. They submit it every month, which in turn helps you repair/build your credit rating.

Thanks for these excellent questions; it helps us and even highlights areas that need a thorough explanation for future spots.

JonoT got a reaction from Freeman in Where did Nikon Z9 video go?
    Everyone!

Thanks for bringing this up. We decided to remove the Nikon Z9 video due to the glaring issue regarding the specific auto focus mode that was never tested, which ultimately lead to the wrong conclusion. We weren't able to simply fix it by our typical methods or refilm as the loaner camera was sent back after the video was released for retesting and posting a new video.

We're going to develop a few new ways to address we don't run into this issue again, but thanks for your patience with us on the matter.

Maybe some of the little handheld game systems. Like I recall there being reviews of of course Steam Deck but also previous devices from GPD, etc. But like, smaller, lower cost devices made for emulating retro games, or the programmable variety that comes in a kit (like the Pocket Arcade, Thumby, ETC). Might be interesting.

I'd be interested in seeing "unboxings" of software and games. First impressions for that are still quite interesting, and it could give the channel more variety.

Obviously, for a lot of software today, you don't actually get a box, so perhaps this wouldn't fit well with the format of the channel if the focus is on the physical unboxing experience, but it is a big part of a tech enthusiast's experience regardless. That experience of going to a digital storefront, purchasing the product, and running it for the first time.

And if it must be products that come in a box, so that you can do an unboxing, you can just limit that to games and software that does still sell physical copies. But I think the reactions of the presenters is more interesting than the stuff in the box most of the time anyway.

Thanks to Kioxia for sponsoring this video! Check out their CD6 NVME SSD at https://lmg.gg/rkDFz

$1,000,000 is how much this entire setup costs, not including all the man-hours since it took over a YEAR to make this happen! Kioxia, AMD, NVIDIA, Supermicro, and Wekka combined their efforts, and they have blown our minds.

Hey @Rikere, we responded in another thread regarding issues with them, but our partnership with Volta has been put on hold until their distribution issues have been resolved. While we understand the manufacturing issues they faced in the process for these chargers, we aren't going to be working with them until everyone who preordered has the GIGA chargers in their hands, and these support issues have been improved. Thanks for bringing it to our attention along with some other audience members. We found out about these issues recently, and put everything on hold as soon as we could.
