  1. Hi, I currently have a macbook air 2013 that i run windows on using bootcamp and its a i5 processor with 8gb ram and 128gb storage. I am looking to build a pc that has i7 and 16gb ram with 128gb ram as i think that will be able to handle the tasks i need it for. Currently computer starts throttling everyday when i open everything i need for work and starts lagging. I would also like to screen record using OBS which i am not able to do currently due to the load it has on the laptop. Is it possible to build a pc of this sort under 600$? Thank you. Appreciate any replies. Also i would like to add that i am not a gamer and so i am assuming i dont really need a graphics card and i7 is not a requirement, i just need something that is relatively new tech and future proof for a couple of years before I can really build a good pc. Thanks
  2. Wow this was incredibly detailed and helpful. Thanks
  3. Hi Everyone, I am planning on building a custom PC that can run 6 monitors for trading purposes. I am guessing i don't require gaming like refresh rates but it needs to be reliable and fast. I am overhwhelmed with all the information and dont know where to start. So here are a bunch of questions i have and i would really appreciate if you guys can answer them. 1) I would rather have this run on a xps15 fully decked out and an external gpu that i can disconnect when i want. Is that possible? 2) If not, what kind of graphics card would i need to run 6 monitors. 3) i would like to reduce clutter and cables. i was thinking of getting USB-C monitors. Would they be better than normal hdmi monitors? 4) what would be an appropriate configuration according to you like the graphics card, the CPU, the cooling, the power supply,RAM and so on. Thank you again.
