It's not something that I have done myself, But I believe you can use UUI, it is made for Linux but afaik you can use windows on it and you should be able to select a SATA drive.

again, this is not something I have done so your mileage may vary.

Give me a few mins to test something and I will get back to you

if im not mistaken cant i download the iso file onto the ssd and run the setup that way?

Ahh, you will need to install windows, the files you get from MS are installation files, not boot files.

So you will need to throw those files onto a USB stick for installation. You can throw them on a Disc, or even another HDD/SSD to install them, but generally this isn't done.

You can't however but them on the SSD you wish to then install windows onto. Once again generally speaking.

how would i use another HDD instead of a usb? sorry if this is annoying i was having a hard time finding anything on google

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking here?

im trying to upgrade to windows 10 since i have a new SSD can i put the files I get from windows media creation tool directly onto the ssd and boot with that ssd? or do the boot files have to come from usb/disk

  5. he's not doing anything intensive at all it will just randomly reset sometimes. It was happening once or twice a night for awhile but as of today he cant go more then a half a hour without a reset i have had him do all the basic trouble shooting things swapping out ram and unplugging all connections and plugging back in on the motherboard and hard drives. Hasn't appeared to be connected to a certain process or load issue. Just wanted to see if there's anything i may be missing that is obvious.

3700x, 3800x, 3900x, 3950x. Those are your best options for gaming/streaming from a single PC.

to be clear he just wants to get by streaming these games not necessarily have the best setup for streaming. so having that in mind would 3700x and up still be your reccomendation or would something on the less expensive side work. (he's still in highschool)

3700x or 2700, but what motherboard and how fast of memory do they have?

ax370-gaming-cf and his memory is only 2400 and to be clear he just wants to get by streaming these games not necessarily have the best setup for streaming. so having that in mind would 3700x and 2700 still be your reccomendation or would something on the less expensive side work. Do you have a PS/2 mouse (or USB to PS/2 adapter) on hand? You could drop the usb 3.0 driver installer on the hard drive (or a secondary drive) and use the PS/2 mouse to install windows and then the USB 3.0 driver

Do not have a ps2 mouse on hand rn.

I got my front of case usb 2 to work and I’m using my mouse on it in bios but it still isn’t working on the install screen
