  1. my case i got it for around 100$ US(enermax ostrog adv) and not sure what you mean about wiring but i connected everything from my case to the motherboard and the audio a thicker cable is connected to a 7 pin port thats labeled hd audio Would that be the same as just using the back ports on my z370 board (gigabtye gaming 5) Alternatively im also looking into a 3.5 to usb adapter https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-External-Headphone-Microphone-Desktops/dp/B01N905VOY/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01N905VOY&pd_rd_r=31a63067-c5d9-11e8-a085-97365cd70759&pd_rd_w=TdVMe&pd_rd_wg=g7wjZ&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3f9889ac-6c45-46e8-b515-3af650557207&pf_rd_r=42W53T6BBGFZYBY515E8&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=42W53T6BBGFZYBY515E8 would that suffice ? Im just trying to make sure im not sacrificing quality for convenience
  2. So Im planning on getting a new headset (hyperX cloud alphas) and speaker(creative A250) set up but Ive run into a problem as my motherboard(gigabyte z370 gaming 5) only has 1 sound output port and they both use 3.5mm and I dont want to use my case headphone and mic ports cause Ive heard the quality is worse So is there a solution for this that will provide no degradation in sound quality and wont cost me an arm and leg ? I assume there is some connector where it allows me to plug in both and allows me to use 1 or the other via windows audio switcher Pls let me know what I need and a good product to use Thanks in advance
