  1. I havent tried overclocking it the gyazo app only popped up because thats what I used to record the gif too show you it went away after I showed you. Yeah I know it cant handle high frames its not the most high end cpu I usually get around 120 but it stutters since the usage is at like 90% for a single game ive played before and the usage would be around 50-60% not that high.
  2. okay I might try downloading and older version first because before the update everything was fine and if that doesn't work i'll try to see if restoring will help. Hopefully this work cuz its been a freaking trip over the past week trying to see if I could find the problem...
  3. 144hz but ive put it down to 90 and it does help and the usage hovers around 75-90% which is silly how high it is.
  4. My MOBO is drivers are all up too date and I have a 16gb usb I could use also should I do a full windows back up or just a system image if im saying it correctly?
  5. I've made a few posts about this but haven't really seemed to come to anything that would find the problem. Im having a problem with high cpu usage it started I want to say at the beginning of the month after a Windows update and gets worse and worse everyday. Also when im gaming and even when I just have a few tabs open on my pc and the specs are not bad at all I have tried many things like rolling back gpu drivers, clearing junk files, ending tasks on task manager and running games on low graphics and low frame rate which have help a little bit but with a pc with specs like mine it should have zero problems running games. The temps are fine I have an io cooler and its usually at about 45-55 when gaming so I know its not over heating. I've tried many things and I was thinking I might just have to come to conclusion and try and roll back windows and use an older version because after that update at the beginning of October it started having problems. If I do go through with the the older version of windows I dont want to accidentally try and lose everything on my system and windows itself I saw that you need a 16gb usb drive to fully back up windows and I was wondering if I might need a larger one to keep it on. Sorry for writing a whole paragraph.. I just want to play some games and in peace without my game stuttering nonstop .Also if anyone has ideas as too what the cause of the high cpu usage could be id really appreciate it thanks guys! Specs: i5 8600k gtx 1070 16gb RAM and here are some things that might help: all cores when playing Destiny 2: https://gyazo.com/c16616f46821a608cf37a821e7dc1ed4 Usage when playing and ignore it when it gets lower its because I tabbed out to record it: https://gyazo.com/c3f42eee83408e543892951ef45bb0d2
  6. Maybe but even when I have just a few tabs open its hovers around 30-50% which is silly high for just being on chrome
  7. Sorry im not super computer savvy but i did the rest and it says its going to take a while and i waited about an hour and its only at 8% and I have to go to bed i got work early thanks for trying to help though.

  9. Okay my gpu usage is usually around 70-90% when gaming also to answer you're last question I use bitdefender as security and lastly the thing you linked says its can put my computer at risk? Is it ok if I run it then?
  10. Destiny 2 and apex legends ive tried so far and all have had the same 100% usage and stuttering... This is the usage when im not on any games ignore the gyazo one: https://gyazo.com/d7f26e0f9a1218d00cddeb3e06695c11
  11. I have constant stutter whenever I play games on my PC and its around 30-40% just when im in chrome which is super high. Then whenever I play games it instantly jumps too 100% and the games are pretty much unplayable and all 6 cores are at 100%. Ive even bought a ssd since someone told me it could be my hdd.. Still stutters then i even cleared a bunch of files and junk files to see if it would help loosen the load.. NOPE still is SUPER high ive even rolled back gpu drivers helped a little but still stutters non.. stop when im gaming. I also came across a video of someone saying this could help ( ) and it seemed to help a few but some people got locked out of there computers because of it and I dont want to be chaging stuff around my pc and maybee screw the whole thing up. And my friend who is somewhat of a computer wiz said its kinda sketchy to change the Value in "Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value. So if anyone has any ideas as too what it might be because at this point i might just have to settle with just getting a new pc all together.. And I really dont want too blow money on something like that right now.. SORRY for jambling on this has been bothering me for almost two weeks now so anything helps here are my specs and some links that could help give more info: i5 8600k gtx 1070 16 gb RAM All cores when playing D2 with a few tabs open ignore it when its below 90 thats because i tabbed out of the game to record it: https://gyazo.com/c16616f46821a608cf37a821e7dc1ed4 https://gyazo.com/c3f42eee83408e543892951ef45bb0d2 SO if anyone could help i would really appreciate it thank you.

  13. I recently have been having problems with stuttering and low fps in games and in windows. It started a few days ago when Destiny 2 moved to steam it was fine before ive tried uninstalling the game and installing it again because I thought at first it was just the game. I have my pc hooked up too two monitors 144hz and a tv which i hardly use and never have had any problems for almost a year until now. Idk if anyone has any ideas as too what I should do because I really dont want too have to delete windows then install it again that would be a huge pain.. BUT if anyone could possible know how to fix it that'd be greatly appreciated also here is a gif of the fps test on ufo. Also here are my specs: i5 8600k 1070 16gb of RAM https://gyazo.com/a84408804f8548b8c9cbb846379203b3
  14. So I recently just got a HD60 Pro to use to record games on my xbox and pc for clips and stuff. I have two monitors for my PC both of them I use DisplayPort but the HD60 Pro is HDMI. So I just take an HDMI cable plug it into my graphics card then into the in port of the HD60 Pro. But when I look at it in my elgato software it doesn't pop up the screen or game I want. Then when I looked in Windows it thinks its own monitor?? I saw a video that said to change the input device to (other) in the elgato settings. Still nothing. But when I go into OBS Stream Labs it works. But not in the elgato software which is really weird.. Im just trying to record clips so if anyone can help or has ideas that would be great thanks.
  15. So for the past month I have had constant packet loss going from 3-10% during the morning and afternoon. Then around 3-5pm everyday it jumps up to 10-40% constantly where it sometimes hard to even watch youtube and gaming is not even possible with that much packet loss. I've had my isp come over twice they switch the router/modem mix and tested it twice but it was in the morning.. and saw less than 1% packet loss. Then they said they would come by sometime to replace all the coax cables (sorry if im wrong) throughout the house but never gave a date but they said its most likely not the issue and I somewhat doubt it too since most people I know have had packet loss issues had there modem or router replace then it was gone.. But not me. Im not too sure if it is me or my isp I have 3 xbox consoles in my house and two computers and they all receive packet loss on games and live streaming. so I'm not too sure it is me since they all have the same problem but then my isp says they see "no packet loss".. So ive kind of been trying to see if I could find out if the issue really is me or not running tracerts and ping tests (hopefully im doing them right) and something i've notice it always and I mean ALWAYS says "request timed out" on the 7th hop idk if that could point out where the problem is or what lol. Ive posted about this like five times im just really tired of lagging everywhere when gaming and makes it very frustrating if anyone had advice on what to do I will DEEPLY appreciate it and love you forever. Heres a screenshot of one of the tracerts: https://gyazo.com/19ca29bd2607f102de6268e26589b3ba
