  1. This only happens in Rainbow Six Siege, where the game will freeze whenever a device is connected/disconnected after the "freeze" my ping would spike. I cant tell what exactly is disconnecting, I've tried swapping mice. updating drivers, rolling back on windows updates, checking temps and usage with afterburner and task manager. This wasn't always an issue and in recent time swapped my boot drive to an ssd but even after that the game worked fine. I tried searching for folks with the same issue but found close to none. Wasn't able to get much help from ubi support either. Any advice is appreciated!
  2. I believe everything is fine now, pc has been running for over an hour now with no crashes. The fix was most likely opening up the gpu and changing the thermal paste, or rolling back the driver. Either way, everything seems to be fine. Thank you for all the help!!
  3. Opened up my gpu and cleaned and replaced the thermal paste. So far no crashing as of a 10 min session. Highest yen while playing is 82c. This might have fixed it going to let the game run
  4. Rolled back the drivers, the card lasted longer before crashing. How long would a 1060 usually last for? Also I was looking at other forums someone mentioned that the psu could be the problem, I believe I had my evga 500 bq for 3 - 4 years max.
  5. While idle the temp is 49c highest while running a game was 70c. Im using msi afterburner.
  6. I'll try using an older driver. If that doesnt work i do have a spare 1050 to also troubleshoot with, otherwise i'll have to get a new GPU. Thank you for all the help!
  7. The checkering only appears when a game is crashing. Nothing in the bios, during start-up and videos themselves, along with audio and colors all seem to be fine.
  8. What kind of hardware issue would happen if I haven't touched anything in my pc?
  9. Two updates happened recently, the nvidia 436.48 on the 1st and a windows "Advanced Micro Devices" on the 15th. I completely uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled as an attempt to fix it. I have know idea why were the drivers updated.
  10. Hello, Recently my games have been crashing in a similar fashion. It starts with a semi checkered pattern and both my screens go black then turn back on with the game crashed. With destiny 2 it gives me a pop-up saying "Graphics runtime detected a crash or loss of device." I have uninstalled the drivers using DDU and reinstalled the lasted drivers to no avail. This wasn't happening at all yesterday and only this morning my only suspension is the most recent nvidia update. Any recommendations. lowered the frequency by 100 and checked the pcie pins. End result was still crashing. I had originally posted this on troubleshooting Ryzen 5 2600 gtx 1060 6gb gigabyte b350
  11. I lowered the frequency my 100 and checked the pcie pins. End result was still crashing. I should add when the game crashed both my monitors go black for like 10 secs then it wont let me move my cursor to the other monitor for a good minute. Edit: Should I also post this on graphic cards?

  13. I had recently upgraded my graphics card from a XFX Radeon R7 360 to a GTX 1050ti EVGA and ever since I've been getting heavy input lag where my character would continue to move in the last direction I had pressed for 3-5 seconds. This would affect the mouse and keyboard where it would just lock-up and not allow me to move anything at all. I had also realized that the CPU usage would jump to 100% but at the same time none of this happened until I installed this new graphics card. I had run both an express install and custom clean install when noticing this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
