  4. I recently built my first gaming PC, which worked fine for 2 weeks but now getting BSODs frequently. I have some questions: 1) do i need z series board in order for RAM to use XMP profile 2) can ram overclocking cause BSOD I have got two sticks of 8gb Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz but in BIOS one shows 2133 and other 2400 I have tested my ram using memtest86 and it sometime shows error and sometime not, i am really confused.

  7. I recently build my first gaming pc (not a pro builder), almost for 1 week system worked fine (hd gaming, video editing, multi-tasking). PC Specs at the bottom!! Now i am getting bsod after 12-20 hours after system gets powered on & sometimes twice a day. Steps i did to resolve this: 1) Checked the drivers & updated (video, third party etc). 2) Checked ram using memtest86 (first time i got 1000+ errors), then i removed and tested one stick at a time error reduced 200, then i tested in the morning after pc shutdown for 12 hours, errors were reduced to 10. 3) Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic (it detected hardware problems).
