  1. So I learned that the Oculus Rift S only needs one USB 3.0 cable and one DisplayPort cable, plus a built in 15 foot cable for both. So I just decided to just go with a cable, and just roll it out when I needed to use it. The question now is if the cables are able to run that far. After some research I found that the USB 3.0 cable should be fine, but the Displayport cable probably can't run that far. So what I came up with is to run an HDMI cable the long distance, then turn it back into a DisplayPort cable. Here is my list of cables I'll be using. Can someone confirm that this will work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0179MXKU8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?smid=A21TE5CLHZDYA7&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019F9JMTG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?smid=A2UV2VXDDFSPSW&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V4W27TM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?smid=A22IT5YXEXLEXM&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C99MTGS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A3LGJ9ZB5RSN9T&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DI8929Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=AYTXYLZT6LI87&psc=1 Thanks!
  2. So I want to buy an Oculus Rift S. The only problem is that my PC is 40ft away from the nearest area open enough for VR. Moving it is not an option, and I would prefer not to have ugly and pricy 40ft cables running all that way. Are there any wireless options? Side note: I wont get the Oculus Quest
  3. Well that’s not quite what the article says here. You can check other articles on this too.
  4. Are there any that are available for W10? If not, is there any softwares that can at least detect which files are corrupted?
  5. I have and 250GB SSD holding W10 and some random files, plus a 1TB HDD with everything else on it. I’m guessing I corrupted the HDD by accidentally kicking the power switch on my breaker off because I got a corruption warning while loading steam and my network adapter keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. I’ve looked online and found a software called AnyRecover that seems pretty great. Is it legitimate? Are there better options? Is there any thing I should know? Any tips? Thanks.
  6. Thanks. I’ll try this out as well.
  7. Well thanks for your lightning fast support. I’ll try using this character when I get back to my computer. Thanks again. I’ll update this thread with the results.
  8. Wow. That was extremely fast. What do you mean editor? I’m trying to input it into Windows 10 as a screensaver.
  9. Can someone send me a character that’s just a square? Preferable an extremely large character. Ex: This (️) except no gradient and it’s a character not an emoji. (If you could greatly increase the size I would be very grateful. Currently trying to solve a possible easter egg on W10.
  10. Lol sorry. I’m having a hard time talking for some reason
  11. Will a GPU fan turn on and light up if only the power is attached? Also, since case fans plug into the motherboard, can I plug a motherboard with nothing (no cpu, gpu, ram, etc.) attached, into a power supply and then plug the case fan into the motherboard? Or do I need all required components for the fan to run?
  12. Thanks for the help @steelo! Will definitely do
  13. So after calling like six companies, one was finally able to sell me a few that they were going to scrap anyways. Thanks for the help!
