  1. You raise a good point, I've checked the list of officially supported SSDs in the service manual (found here) http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06111498 And one of the items listed is "128-GB, M.2, SATA-3 solid-state drive" which would suggest that the drive I'm looking at would be supported. Am I wrong?
  2. I'm looking to upgrade my laptop's storage with an m.2 2280 ssd around 1TB beacause the 256gB ssd included probably won't be enough to run multiple operating systems as is my intention. I believe the my laptop has Samsung's 950 pro NVMe m.2 ssd. I looked around and this is the cheapest SSD that matches the description I'm looking for. https://www.newegg.com/global/ie/Product/Product.aspx?reviews=all&item=N82E16820250092 My quesion is: Would I have any reason to consider buying a more expensive ssd? Will will I run into problems from the reduced read and write speeds or am I likeley not to notice the difference?
