For a few years now, I've been doing essentially freelance stage audio work my local theatre and church.
The Razer Kraken 7.1 chroma I have at home is getting somewhat worn from age and whatnot, and I'm thinking about replacing it with the Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO that I've been using at the theatre and church so I can do some practice at home, have the full extent of fun with my voice acting & editing hobbies, and naturally play games.
My question is would an 880 or 990 be more suited for my needs (seeing as they're all ~£100 on Amazon, it's a worthy question), and what extra equipment would I be needing to get them to work with a home pc without splashing too much cash?
