    I've stumbled across an issue with the other two cards which appeared to work with the GTX450 bios; neither the geforce driver installer nor gpu-z can identify the gpu any more. probably a long-shot to solve this issue without painstakingly reflashing the card bios, but does anyone know a way to force a geforce driver to install with windows 10?

    Thanks for all the help guys! The card worked fine with the fake bios it came with, but with the kinds of driver instabilities you'd expect from a fake card. Each time i tried to flash a different bios however, there were screen artifacts even on the POST screen. I'm pretty sure the hardware is fine. I'll try flashing these bioses and see what happens

    So i bought a few different looking fake cards on ebay, all with GF106 chips. The fake gtx 960 and gtx 780 i bought now work (only on some motherboards though?) with the fake-gtx-960 / real-GTS450 bios file from this thread: i also tried many other GTS450 rom files, however the gtx 750ti still displays messy artifacts all over the screen. any suggestions on how or where i might find a working bios for this card?
