True, but if folks want to get up in arms about cellphones and this type of radiation. Then they better get up in arms over microwaves, power lines, visible light (yep light), lasers, IR, and probably a few others I can't recall off the top of my head.
The average human is exposed to ionizing and non-ionizing through out the day, from natural sources to human made sources. An individual can't get away from it. Just don't aim to go around getting overdoses of the high-level output ones (like don't go standing in front a direct shot satellite).
