  1. and here are the bios settings that are there in the thunderbolt option... I tried completely disabling it from there but did not work...
  2. This is the warning I get when I turn in my PC with both the cables connected...
  3. Dude I really don't have that much money rn to buy a dock... In India docks are freaking expensive... it would literally be half the cost of the monitor that I just bought...
  4. I have tried doing that then it just totally kills the port... I tried setting it to only display input and USB hub, but it still didn't work.
  5. Bruh... even I know that but then I want to use the Thunderbolt port only cos I want to use the display's USB hub too...
  6. Dude idk how to do that... if you know then do tell me please... the display is LG 27UL850.
  7. So, I have connected my Dell G5 to my LG display via Thunderbolt 3, now it its taking power from the Thunderbolt cable even though my AC power brick is plugged in. The problem this creates is that my laptop is a gaming beast which requires 180w power from the AC adapter, but the Thunderbolt cable delivers only 60w charge, this makes my CPU (i78750H) throttle so badly. It usually runs at 4.1GHz but because of taking power from the wrong place it barely reaches 0.8GHz. I am in so much of trouble because of this, someone please give me a solution fast. I have tried shifting the functionality of the Thunderbolt port to only Display input and UDB Hub in the BIOS, but it still takes power from the Thunderbolt port.
  8. So here's the thing, I am a fairly new guitar player and have an electric guitar and want to connect to my laptop and record a few awesome riffs. But the problem is that my laptop (Dell G5) has a combo headphone jack, so now when i plug in my setup, it doesn't detect any input at all. I do not know what the problem is, is it a windows setting that i need to change or is MaxxAudio Pro messing with me or is there something setting that needs to be changed in Audacity or anything else. I have seen videos and stuff on how to do this and there it seems fairly simple but idk whats the problem i am facing. I have tried both the setups 1) straight guitar to laptop and 2) guitar to amp to laptop but nothing is working. Solutions on internet that i've found either require a USB audio interface or a jack splitter, plz tell me if i necessarily need to use any one of those or is there something that i can tweak on my pc to make the thing work. And i do not want to buy anything new until its absolutely necessary.
  9. Can I get some link of a video showing how to do that or something similar or at least some steps for doing so
  10. So guys here's the thing, I am a beginner in After Effects and know the basics of it and I want to create a Windows 10's Ribbon screensaver style effect in After Effect. Can anyone teach me how to do so or tell me the tools and steps at least??

  12. So, should i go for a DSLR for now?? And can you explain your concerns for not going with a DSLR in this scenario and opting a mirrorless as primary choice. And please opt out for the poll also for a better overview.
