Ive don't my fair share of research and listened to you gurus here at LTT as welll. I think I odn't need 18 core intel HEDT,,, My daw accepts all 16 threads and having fast cores will help. Im no doing any hardcore multi threaded apps except for my DAW app. I think I ill be fine with a 16 thread KS all cores at 5Ghz or OC to 5.2Ghz in all core. What yall think ? I

The motherboard is shot,, I couldnt boot up etting red light on CPU and or RAM ,, then say ram is bad,, ever since then problrms and I bought my motheroard used ad it came out to have issue. I need a new system trust me there no fixinf this problem. I put everting st stock defaults and same thing,, hardware is ad its ok Im geting a new system soon.

Thank you for that detailed explanation I appreciate it big time. I hear you about the PCI 3.0 then the 3080 or 4080 is PCIe 4.0 Im faked. I think Im gonna get the 3950x but I still wouldnt't mind seeing the 10980XE benchmarks at 4.8Ghz before I make my decision. But not having PCIe 4.0 is not good for a future video card.. sighs. I on't know why install is hellbent on PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 have no speed difference,,, that is what Intel says. Yet they said the will hae specs of PCIe 6.0 .. lol that is many years away. sighs. But if a 4080 comes out as PCIe 4.0 I might be screwed your right...

I apologize. My system has been messed up for almost 3 years. I get crashes everyday and no signal crashes, WIth 3 video cards. I work around it couple crashes a day and forget about gaming. So I am desperatly in need of a system. I just want to get something that will last time 8 to 10 years. Will a 8 core be future proof for many years to come. Or will 10980XE be future proof with all those cores. Or 3950x be future proof many years from now... That is my concern.

Is there a realm of possibility I get 30fps more in any situation in the map ? Ive seen RAM tests give 10fps more like a 4000Mhz vs 3200Mhz... So thats 10fps and CPU maybe another 20 more for 30fps more,, or am I dreaming ?

Going to a 10980XE and Aorus Master x299x when they come out. My question is how much more FPS will I gain with a 10980XE or 9900kS. For example playing certain parts of map and lots of action Quake Champions goes to 105 ish then jump up to 140 then 128 fps. Putting in a new mobo cpu and ram how much more FPS will I get, as I am really curious. Thank you

Just get a 1660Ti and yolll be fine. No taxing of GPU as it remains at 0 percent so really doesn't matter if your 2k or 3k or 4k .. Connect as many monitors as you like it will still be 0 percent CPU and 0 percent GPU usage while in desktop and what not.

Great rig but CPU is holding you back as said above from the chap.

I would look at the Klipsch line. The Quartet speakers and THX. Also they use Klipsch speakers in most movie theaters and what not.

Looks like the power outage did bad things to the motherboard. Let someone else give their insight on this.

At the end of the day your room temp hopefully 74F will make a difference in liquid getting hot thus no matter what setup you have.

You already have a kick ass motherboard which has great VRM and much less heat and better overclocks. You have the Auro Master z390, I don't know what else you want. Perhaps you can RMA the motherboard because your not going to find a better one then this for yourself. Its a bad mobo that's all.. sorry for the bad luck there.

What else do you do besides gaming. Do you use hardcore multi core apps with HT ? If so get the 3900x. If you want gaming and some production work get the 9700k which goes head to head with 9900k and is pretty much same speed. For video card grab 2070 Super. For motherboard grab a Gigabyte Aorus Elite the cheaper one, just has no WiFi or bluetooth and what not. So answer me you play at 1440p right ? Then 2070 Super will handle it.

Try a different USB port or on a hub. Let us know what happens.

Ya sound prooing is something I haven't heard. Like Guru Ryan_Vickers said.. very smart he is. You know the Sennheiser 4.50 BTNC is hundred some odd dollars like not even close to 200. They sound excellent. I mean I have Sennheiser 650 which I use in the studio, but if Im on the go the 4.50 BTNC will be nice for you. Im here to say its excellent quality. Just pair it with your phone and take it on the go. Or get a bluetooth usb stick so you can use it in Windows as well.

Please do not flash it unless you have to. Unlesst there is a bug or you just need to do it. For now don't worty about a BIOS flash it won't do much if anything at all.

Read it all... Can this be a fuked up keyboard ? You did all you can do, I don't know what to say. Do you have warranty on the keyboard. Obvious IMO the keyboard has crapped out.

Do you have a reason to update BIOS ? What do you want to get out of doing it. I urge you not to do it and you can crap out your system and feel like sh*T on why you did it. Unless there is a problem don't do BIOS upgrades... Once again if its life and death then do the BIOS update but if nothing is wrong with your sytsem why risk it ya know.

Well Winblows 10 will put a old old version of nVidia display driver. After your Windows installation is done use DDU" Display Driver Unisntaller and clean and restart and back into normal mode now install the 441.xx drivers and things should sort out for you big time.

Just go to the BIOS and ignore the fan in question in the fan section of BIOS. I don't know if this is the right advice but give it a shot. My fan also gives error upon bootup so I disabled it or ignore it should I say. For some reason your main CPU fan might be low on the boot up sequence.

Hey Ryan my friend so g-sync without the phsical hardware device inside the monitor is pretty much boolshit sync uh ? I just updated firmware on my TV and now it supports g-sync. Is it really worth the extra 300 to 400 for it to be true g-sync hardware in monitor ? I mean is it really a big diference as I have not played with g-sync alot I updated my my TV to g-ysnc compatible. Is there a difference between this adaptive sync compared to true G-sync. I mean is it really forth 300 to 400 more. Will I see a difference and a noticable one at that and be happy I spend 700 bones compraed to 400 bones ?
