  1. Ok system restore works but when you go choose a date to restore your registry it just sits there saying recovering registry or something like that which is the normal screen you see when you run system restore,, but when I go restore it like I said it just hangs on the screen and hour glass thingie saying recovering registry or whatever it says,,,, and does nothing. I tried in Safe Mode as well and doesn't work,, gets stuck on the screen that says restoring registry and what not. What is up with this,, I neeed to do a system restore right now,, faaaaaaaaaaaak

How did you get the card for 500 dollars only ?

    GPU Bottleneck Inquiry

The CPU is not powerful enough to drive a 1080 properly.. imo

Does ryzen 5 2400g bottlenecks my rtx 2070

If its overclocked then you should be fine, however a faster CPU would yield more frames by the gpu to drive and what not.

    GPU Crash after unloading

When was the last time it was working ? What has changed since then ?
  6. All cores can get touched but not a lot maybe couple percent per core ,,, cpu usage probably at 10 to 15 percent on a 18 core 9980XE
  7. Here you go. 1080p - 1060 6GB or RTX 2060 for only 350 bones. 1440p - 2070 RTX or possibly a 2080 RTX 4k - 2080Ti
  8. Lucky you 2080 You will join the RTX club! Well 3dmark uses your CPU as well. So if you OCed your CPU but not GPU, 3dmark can crash. Anyhow I wouldn't bother with any of that junk. Just launch aida stability test and put a check in GPU ,,, and it will torch your GPU and make it work at 100 percent load and what not. All these stupid benchmark programs are silly. They run synthetic tests to see if it can fry your CPU, that is all that junk is for me IMO. I rather use a professional app like Aida and do stability test ya know... Also your temps will be 10c more in Prime95 where as Aida is not synthetic based.
  9. Do the Aida stability test...….. Prime is very synthetic stress tool.... it will take your temps to a place it will never go in the real world. Also it can damage your CPU. I would shoot for 4.8Ghz with 1.35v ……. If it passes you can try decreasing the voltage a notch and test again, until it botches up and aida stops or crashes pc and what not.
  10. Yes, run teh stability test in Aida and if she runs for 30 minutes and no crash or stoppage then go back and OC a bit more. You need to find the sweet spot for voltage.. I think you can do 4.8 with 1.35v LLC needed possibly.
  11. Like the guru said above, try to do 4Ghz at stock voltage, just raise the multiplier. Then go from there, don't just set your voltage to 1.40v off the bat, have fun with the whole process... Start slowly.... The main things were concerned with are multiplier and voltage and LLC. Put it to 1.30v and see if you can do 4.6Ghz and slowly take it from there each time you boot back up run stress test for 30 minutes and if all is well, then you can continue to raise the voltage and the multiplier. good luck
  12. No kidding. That sorta sux. Will the 9900k successor allow for 8 slot mobo ?
  13. No Quad Channel Memory ....... I cant find a board with 8 slots that works with 9900k ?

    2060 or 1070?

I would get the RTX 2060 as it will offer 1070 performance + you get Ray Tracing and new tech... But also I would overclock the GPU and you should be set for 1080p gaming with max nvidia settings and max in game settings @ 144fps

    GTX 970 Issues

Things can become choppy or stuttering may occur once your out of VRAM. For 1080p and max textures and settings 6GB VRAM is all you pretty much need.
