From what i see. u need root. My guess are kernel wakelocks. They dont let the phone sleep in idle mode, which explains ur phone being hot while being in ur pocket. Root it and use Gsam battery apps to narrow down which wakelocks are most active and try to find a way to block them. Most of the time u will need a custom kernel to block wakelocks. Cheers!!
