Hello, lately I've been having this one problem with my external hard drive. It would click and then wind down every few seconds. I was able to trace it back to my USB hub not giving it enough power. I plugged into my PC and got no clicks, and then I plugged it back into my USB hub to see if it was gonna happen and sure enough, it did. Nothing was on the drive so it doesn't matter if it goes to crap. But my question is, is there a chance that it is now damaged due to all that clicking? Should I test it? I can't find any sources on Google.
