  1. I know, I didn't really want to buy it as it doesn't cover the whole of the heat plate. But I wanted an AIO liquid cooler. On my previous 1950x I had an Enermax 280 and that lasted 4 months. I sent it back and they replaced it August with the larger Enermax 360. Again this failed. This time after 3 weeks. Again one pipe hot the other cold. i have heard that the coolant in the rev 1.0 of these coolers corrodes the inside and then pieces stick in the pump. The supplier didn't have any more Enermax coolers due to the new RGB ones coming out so I bought the Kraken Yeah, I agree that the Ryzen master software is probably correct and not the bios. But it is the bios that will control the thermal throttling of the CPU. So I feel that my cpu isnt performing as it should. my multicore geekbench score is 30,000 and I expected at least 36,000.
  2. Hi, I am using a 2950x and ASRock x399 taichi with a Kraken X62 AIO for cooling. I am getting high idle temps, 66 Celsius, reported in the motherboard bios (3.30) Looking at the ryzen master software when running windows, the temperature is in low 30s. I realise that there is a 27 degree offset from Tctl to Tdie , But if the motherboard is reporting the higher temperature, would that not mean that thermal throttling will happen much sooner than it would if the correct temperature was being reported on the mb? Any help greatly appreciated
