I really dont see the point of this when you could just get a tegra 7 and hock up a controler to the tablet. Seems lika a lot more bang for your buck. I mean, who is really intresed in playing android games on this device anyway.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I'll need to visit the store someday and try out the mice you put forward.

Hello everyone and a bit of an OCD problem here. I just purchased a qpad-mk 80 pro and I really love the blue back light (happens to match the R4 LED) and the mechanical cherry switches. My problem now is that I have a Logitech G500 and that red LED just wont stop bothering me... So do you have any good suggestions on a gaming mouse that will fit with my blue color scheme? I was also considering if you could simply rip the mouse apart and replace the LED for a blue one. Dunno if that's really a good idea though, it doesn't seem like it's that easy to take apart.

R9-295 X2 - Not as much bang for your buck as expected.

I really don't see the point to these double GPU cards. Seems like a waste of company resources just to be able to say they have "the fastest card on the planet" or something along those lines. Would much rather see that some more effort was put in to improve real performance... -
It would actually be quite nice if they bundled a graphics card with an SSD, especially nice if you're building a new computer.

FC4 CONFIRMED!!! Far Cry 4 Set in Himalayas With Rideable Elephants
Dragonvader replied to Snickerzz's topic in Tech News
"Rideable elephants" This is almost worse than the super dogs in COD... -
Seems as they are looking to upgrade the screen in the consumer version as well. Maybe there is a good side with the crazy resolution war in mobile screens

Intel to renew commitment to desktop PCs with a slew of new CPUs
Dragonvader replied to wizpig64's topic in Tech News
Sadly i feel this is more of a needed upgrade for workstations. I mean, there is really not that many games that are CPU bound. And with mantle and DX12 around the corner a strong CPU seems less needed than ever for us gamers. -
New Magnetic Material To Provide "Boost" To Hard Drives
Dragonvader replied to Entropy's topic in Tech News
Here comes an article for those of you who are a bit more interested in the actual workings of these new magnets http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/03/140303103748.htm -
The risk of data loss should not be more than twice as high as normal but you should always backup anyway. Regarding performance I would believe that they will always run at the speed of the slowest drive. Having a raid card might improve that due to the caching but I'm not sure. xD

I currently have an 250 gig SSD as my OS disk and a 1TB hard drive for general storage so I guess I'll just go ahead an buy another 1TB drive as a dedicated fraps drive. Any recommendations on which drive I should buy. Would a WD red drive be any good?
