I have just finished my new pc build, i am placing my windows 10 boot USB into my pc and when choosing the 64bit installer the windows 10 logo appears on the screen and i have left for over an hour and nothing has happened. The loading icon that should appear at the bottom is not appearing and im not sure what to do. budget isn't too much of a hold back, it will mainly be used for rendering, streaming and gaming. I have heard a lot of good things about the Taichi plus its very well priced

tru, but we don't know yet when I get my motherboard to test it then we will know but there is no reason at all why it should be so we all good. plus DOA regulations prevent stuff like this from happening, and I have also notified AMD anyway so I will see what they say

yeah ikr my intel cpu would have been £430 which is just crazy. Also, how was your experience with ccl because I told them about this and they started throwing out accusations towards me and my friend who owns a tech shop and also didn't know anything me and him were talking about. Im defiantly never shopping with them ever again anyway. But yeah your right warranty will cover it and thats what I was thinking either till Black Friday in Nov to buy my motherboard or at the end of the month not too sure yet. but either way I can't wait im so hyped

sadly I don't have a motherboard to test it yet, Im going to have to wait till the end of the month to get paid and order it. The main reason why I got the CPU was due to inflation of intel chips bought these down so I got it for £377!!! which is crazy. either way the company I bought it off have to give me a refund if its DOA no matter when I actually use the CPU. what do you reckon I should do tho pay someone to test it or wait till the end of the month?

Same with my friend, but from what the rep said it shows further testing and he said it might be a really good CPU but there is always a chance that something could be damaged and that is where im worried. The worst part is the supplier did not want to offer any help, plus he didn't know anything about computers and was still trying to tell me that it was my fault, and marks like that cannot be caused in the space of the 4 hours I have had my CPU because they are clearly from the testing cooling blocks that AMD use and one that has been slightly over tightened. but hopefully from what the rep said my CPU should overclock amazingly

yeah, and I definitely understand this its just the IHS is proper stainless steel and for a brand new sealed product to have marks like these it did get me slightly worried, and also the fact that I don't have a motherboard to test it on yet im still slightly worried but I feel much better after what the AMD rep said
