  1. yeah I am getting this repeatedly, but I am on opera web browser, so I'll test out chrome and firefox too see if its anything related.... additionally, the images I link too through third party hosts don't appear, just the alt text, and my avatar isn't displaying for some reason.... ----- chrome and firefox also have the same problem..... odd, I am posting from florida and while I can't imagine that would be related for all I know it could be. also related, I am getting an ex3 error by just trying too view pages, like this one
  2. so to be clear I guess, this was my solution. and it works, its just not "perfectly streamline" and it causes problems with the apps that interact with keyboard and mouse.
  3. with as many ads as I have seen for synergy I forgot all about it thanks for the reminder I'll finally give it a shot XD
  4. because what I really want too achieve is the reduction of wires and integration that doesn't require flipping a switch or pushing a foot peddle. XD if I can't find an application that does this than I would use a switch, but I wouldn't need a KVM anyway as I only want too change over the mouse and keyboard inputs not the monitors
  5. so I have my desktop, and I have the msi8rf thin, and I plug my laptop up too my tv and my desktop sits on an L desk with two monitors on the long side, on the other side my laptop gets docked with the tv too the left of that. I made a "usb switch" for them too toggle what computer they are routed too, but that started making things "funky", using dtp switches but connecting and disconnecting the mouse repeatedly isn't working out that well, I was wondering if any of you, outside of a kvm switch, use anything too integrate two systems virtually? something like remote controlling a computer I guess, they is probably a dead end but i figure if anyone has heard of something like this it would be you guys.
  6. So I was wondering, I am thinking about wrapping my desk in vinyl and I have a large mousepad but if it was possible to have a cleaner look without having a mousepad that would be nice.... so I was thinking about how different types of vinyl wraps and patterns for those wraps would work with mouse tracking.. I did try too look around but I couldn't find anything as when you look up vinyl and mousepad in the same sentence you get heat transfer for mousepad results and that is something entirely different. much thanks for the input!
  7. you can also order cables these days in a lot of different colored sleeves, you could potentially sleeve them yourself, assuming you have the proper material to do it and don't mind spending more time than its worth(imo) when you could just buy perfectly working ones.
