  1. The pin that fell off from the F-USB is a pin for Overcurrent Protection. I would think that would only affect USB devices and not the board.
  2. It looks like it is overcurrent protection. But if its not in use would that still effect the board? I would imagine that would only effect devices that are using the USB ports.
  3. Okay, thanks for the insight. I wouldn't even be able to boot it back up cause I have a 3000 series Ryzen and I wouldn't be able to update BIOS for it. So RIPPY.
  4. So around a year and a half ago I had an issue with my computer where it just stopped booting, I couldn't figure out the issue so I took it into a hardware shop. The tech there said that a F-USB 3.0 pin had broken off. Pin #10 just to be specific. I ended up just switching out boards and putting this board into storage. Could losing this pin on the board cause it to die? Also, don't think it matters but it is a Gigabyte AB350-Gaming board. TIA
  5. Everything has been figured out, uninstalling the HDD and reinstalling to SSD worked and I was able to full format the HDD.
  6. Sorry I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you meant it would create windows but you mean it won't create those recovery environments.
  7. But it did create on the SSD. That's why I'm confused.
  8. The "DellSupport", "WINRETOOLS" and "Image" all only show "Help" when right clicked.
  9. Hi Everyone, I am trying to full format a HDD in a laptop as I bought an M.2 SSD for faster speeds, normal things. I have having some issues full formating the disk though. As you can see there are couple extra partitions, first thought was to try diskpart to try and clean it. But I'm getting an error even though the HDD isn't being used for any OS things. I would like to not have to use a program if possible but if need be I will. Am I stupid and am missing something obvious well trying to clean or should I not even be trying to use DiskPart. Thanks in Advance.
  10. with side panel squeezed on, not much pressure on anything just a little close for comfort, temps are only hitting 68C
  11. Side panel is off at time on testing and my room temp is actually 18C. Side panel actually doesn't fit on with the evo 212 so i need a new case.
  12. From what I'm seeing online, people are saying that 1.375 is fine, and anything above 1.4 should be lowered. I've seen people running 4ghz at 1.4 on liquid.
  13. It seems that if I have voltage at 1.35 it limits the clock speed to half for some reason, currently at 1.375. 63C.
