wasnt the issue mainly units with multiple 12v rails not being able to supply enough power over the rail for pci power?
Not too sure about that, read something about that, but also seen this :
so it should be fine imho.

Will be okay, but change that psu as soon as you can, wattage wise it's fine but it's old and afaik was not amazing even when it came out.

lol. 3070 requires 650 according to nvidia, and even 3080 can run perfectly with high quality 650 unit.

To be fair....that doesn't stop the fact its a thing people are troubleshooting everyday,..what you said has always been the case with Hardware.
Some people even don't bother with updating drivers prior to going on forums. Also, google "rtx 3080 crashing" with a 24HOUR filter, Plenty of issues too.

Which means case fans and gpu fans, and likely also cpu fans to the max or go water cooling altogether. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
or case change, his is not airflow optimized at all.

yup cause the fans on my gpu are designed to be silent so it should be better cause my gpu was running at 85 degrees while playing warzone so i just want to make my new pc perform a bit better
Your case is fairly restrictive when it comes to airflow, just increase fan speed as @miniboissaid.

I read that PSU's operate best when at 50% of their rated capacity.
Not exactly true.

Mostly ePeen, except if you are planning to do actual hard work on your pc or powering multiple gpu's. But at least you admitted it So that's nice.

No one is suggesting that.
@Juular@LukeSavenije Can anyone of you weigh in on this?
-
Still a thing. Not sure who said it's not longer possible or is no longer done.
-
No.imo that is.
8 minutes ago, Actual_Criminal said:"Hurr-durr get this 650W copper efficiency Chinese PSU instead.",
No one in their right mind would say this. Wattage you are going with is silly, but never go for copper as you say Chinese psu, be it 650 or 1000w.

Yeah, it's fine. Stutter might have occurred if you set your in game settings too high.

that was at idle.
after a restart it is sitting around 45 deg. as soon as i start cinebench it throttles to 4.4 but got a score of 5603
Try remounting,should solve it.

any other software to test my gpu?
You can use something like Superposition to compare your score with others with similar hardware.https://benchmark.unigine.com/superposition

Ignore ub and you will be okay. Worry if it's stuttery in games, if it's not, you are fine.
-
idle or under load? Would suggest remounting your cooler, it might not be making proper contact with your cpu.

That means less than nothing.

Don't use psu calculators. They are not accurate most of the time.

They all taste like piss. Try getting enough sleep instead.
I tried Monster Punch when needed to stay awake for 3 days, only one that does not taste like piss. But I prefer a bit of coffee and some sleep too.
