Nope, they can't work together so there's no point.

And that's precisely the problem! People will shell out big bucks for a keyboard that cuts corners everywhere and will be absolutely destroyed by a custom (or GMMK "custom") of the same total price.

Look, if you want to go drop $300 on something with $10 keycaps, shit switches, extremely average build quality, etc, be my guest. But you asked for advice and are now ignoring it, so...

what 550w you have now? what rest of specs? you are fine with 550w psu unless you are rocking high end intel cpus.

Get a decent CPU+GPU and an SSD for game storage. Also you want to get the best single core performance you can get your hands on.
And trust me that amount of mods on Skyrim is just a pain to get working properly.
Expect like 75% of your time fiddling with mods, 20% crashing and restarting the game and 5% of gameplay...

Are you sure you know what you're talking about? Because Corsair and HyperX are completely different, competing companies, not one model of headset.

Yes. Get this instead, same price and a lot better.

nox_ reacted to mariushm in Cybernetics vs. 80Plus
80 Plus rating is more "relaxed" and not as comprehensive as Cybernetics ratings.

80 Plus only measures efficiency at 10%, 20%, 50%, 100% loads and does it in a somewhat "loose" benchmark. For example, they don't stress too much about ambient temperature, which could vary in their lab between let's say 20c and 25c.  If you're lucky and get the psu tested at closer to 20c ambient, your psu may get a tiny bit better efficiency.
Also, according to some people, they're fairly easy to fool, as in you could submit a few models with shorter psu cables, or a more powerful fan that cools better and makes psu noisier but gets the psu to get into 80plus bronze or whatever... they don't review the psu when it's released and on the shelves, when it comes with thinner and/or longer cables, with different fan etc etc.

Cybernetics as far as I know buy the psus from stores, they don't use models sent by manufacturer, and they have a better controlled environment and more comprehensive tests and they also test things like noise which are not covered by 80plus

The higher the input voltage, the better the efficiency of a psu.
Most modern power supplies have a Active PFC circuit which takes whatever input voltage you give the psu, rectifies it and boosts it to around 400-420v and then that 400-420v gets pushed through those transformers inside and converted to 12v and smaller voltages.
    It's more efficient to convert a high voltage to a slightly higher voltage (200-250v -> x 1.414 => ~320v -> 420v) , instead of lower voltage to high voltage (90v-110v  -> x 1.414 = ~ 175v -> 420v)
The higher the currents, the more losses you have ( power  = current 2 x resistance  ) ... so if you keep input currents low, you get less losses

It's not integrated gpu, more ram won't help much. From my perspective it's an odd combo, in gaming especially.

nox_ reacted to BTGbullseye in More VRAM?
Unless doing 4k video editing, or rendering, (or trying to get dual rank performance increases which are usually about 1%) there is no need for more than 16GB of system RAM at this point in time. The sweet spot for VRAM is 8GB, as long as you don't plan on using max settings at 1440p or higher resolution.

That's just telling the system to dedicate a certain amount of the shared system RAM to the GPU. This only applies to Intel integrated GPUs. (and all it really does is reduce RAM available to the system)

It's going to be hurting with that little VRAM, unless running at minimum settings.
