  1. Its detachable on the one audio ones. I use mine almost exclusively for music when i'm cleaning or doing house hold chores. Also the black and red ones are the ones I got, they are model A2 they are more versitile. the A1 model I think is bluetooth only.
  2. I got these OneAudio Headphones for my son last Christmas (and then a set for my self) you want to game with them use the cable, other wise they sound great for muisc and talking over blue tooth. (i'm in USA I noticed you used £ for your monetary denotation so i went to amazon.co.uk) I will say If she spins in her chair, the cord can get caught and breaks the part that the ear peices swivel on...my son.. gets mad and spins when he loses some times. so now he only has audio from one side.) These look decent also. Corsair Headphones
  3. right? I honestly question how good that box will really be for that price. It looks nice, but I'm not familiar with that particular CPU.
  4. well hell be more specific next time, thats a pretty sweet deal. What bank is this? I could use 200 free dollars. *On a side note, I don't pay any fees either, get 10$ quarterly, and they have a very liberal lending policy on home loans.
  5. This why I use a local bank. If something goes wrong I call them and they fix it. 5-10 minutes tops.
  6. Needed and wanted by employers are not necessarily the same thing. Many jobs I've looked into (especially MGMT level) list specifically a bach degree and/or 5-10 years experience in the field. That degree will require the math, not necessarily the job. but the job many times requires the degree.
  7. I work for a college in computer services. I am first level tech support. I do hardware installs, software installs, trouble shooting, etc. The only math i've needed so far in 3 years on this job has been how to read a tape measure. my boss and his boss on the other hand, are in charge of million dollar+ budgets, negotiating contracts for software licsencing etc. the college requires a masters degree for the bosses boss. current boss, has the experience from being in the military and running his own business where he had multiple gov contracts that they over looked his lack of a degree. If you want more than 30-35$ year (USA) job, honestly a bach degree will almost be required unless you go into a skilled trade like welding or somthing and are willing to travel for the job. I'm currently working on finishing my degree because I dont wanto be stuck here another 3 years.
  8. Keep in mind walmart is also buying them by the millions so they are getting an entire factory run and as such gets a volume discount. (and a fairly large discount most likely.) I used to work at a walmart, the mark up one items was ludicrous while on others it was selling at a loss. most TVs and electronics where single digit markup, TVs especially. it was not uncommon to lose 2-5% per TV, but make it up on movies at 15-20% profit, or HDMI cables at 50-75% profit. I didn't work in the clothing depts, but I'm willing to bet they got 25-30% profit.
  9. ....(bows head him shame)....thanks guys. wow. I wish I could blame this on Monday...but its not Monday...
  10. okay this is stupid, and it should not be an issue. I set up a new debian 10 server, I'm litterally logged in as root now. (I know bad etc. but its an isolated network and this is just a test/proof of concept so I can show my boss what FogServer can do) I have the main 500GB drive that I installed on. then a 1TB and a 2TB drive that will be used for backup/image storage. I entered mkdir media mkdir media/images mount -t auto /dev/sdc1 media/images media/images does not exist the hell it doesn't I just made it! for reference here is the out put of lsblk lsblk NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT sda 8:0 0 465.8G 0 disk ├─sda1 8:1 0 457.9G 0 part / ├─sda2 8:2 0 1K 0 part └─sda5 8:5 0 7.9G 0 part [SWAP] sdb 8:16 0 931.5G 0 disk └─sdb1 8:17 0 931.5G 0 part sdc 8:32 0 1.8T 0 disk └─sdc1 8:33 0 1.8T 0 part sr0 11:0 1 1024M 0 rom And the output of fdisk -l fdisk -l Disk /dev/sdb: 931.5 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors Disk model: ST1000DM003-1SB1 Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 4096 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 4096 bytes / 4096 bytes Disklabel type: dos Disk identifier: 0xe0f0b244 Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type /dev/sdb1 2048 1953523711 1953521664 931.5G 83 Linux Disk /dev/sda: 465.8 GiB, 500107862016 bytes, 976773168 sectors Disk model: ST500DM002-1BC14 Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disklabel type: dos Disk identifier: 0x73e76b07 Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type /dev/sda1 * 2048 960186367 960184320 457.9G 83 Linux /dev/sda2 960188414 976771071 16582658 7.9G 5 Extended /dev/sda5 960188416 976771071 16582656 7.9G 82 Linux swap / Solaris Disk /dev/sdc: 1.8 TiB, 2000398934016 bytes, 3907029168 sectors Disk model: ST2000DL003-9VT1 Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disklabel type: dos Disk identifier: 0x0008a40d Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type /dev/sdc1 2048 3907028991 3907026944 1.8T 83 Linux what am I missing? this has to be some thing easy that I am just blanking out on right? i deleted the dirs and started over, remade the dirs, and tried to mount again mount dev/sdc1 media/images mount: /root/media/images: special device dev/sdc1 does not exist. this is what I get now.
  11. I use these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CNM4X8V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Only down side the blue-tooth is only worth wile if you are using it on on like a phone, BT with games sucks on these. Hooked up with the cord though, they are amazing for their price. (IMHO)
  12. At one point in time you could, I think it was the 2009 and/or 2010 27 inch imacs.
