If your motherboard has a small digital display that shows codes look at the read out while trying to start it up. If you can get a code from the motherboard than you can look it up with the model and manufacturer of the motherboard.

Your'e going to want to unplug the psi cable keeping to power supply switch too on. Wait a hour or so and press and hold the power button to fully drain the capacitors. You won't have to hold the power button for the whole time just a few minutes, if that.

I just received my ordered DVI-D cable minutes ago and its working now. I guess its either the adapter or the VGA cable that causes it, I still don't know but I'm happy to be using both my monitors now. I'm going full digital (no more using vga cables). Thanks everyone for suggesting ideas, helping when I was in search for solutions.

weird right? hehe. its suppose to be easy or at least fixed right away. Now I'm thinking it might be the monitor or gpu..i might have to borrow 2 extra cables and monitors that would narrow down the problem. I hope someone who experienced the same or has an idea how to fix it would see this. hehe

Anyway, if ever I find out what causes it I'll let you guys know. Thanks for sparing time to help.

Microsoft still needs to make money, so they likely want you to buy a new license instead.
The free upgrade was mostly a marketing stunt, if everyone had to pay to upgrade many people wouldn't have done the upgrade. They made it seem like a limited offer, because they can't just give out free software while the company needs to make profit too.

My Windows 7 hasn't been updated since 2015 and it still runs solidly. It's by been far more reliable, consistent, and smooth-performing than my Windows 10 install. So, after 2020 will be no different to my Windows 7 install than the past few years have been.

Regarding Windows 10, if you want to keep the Windows 7 experience in Windows 10, with as little data-harvesting as possible, no feature update, but with security updates, then get Windows 10 LTSC. You can buy a license for it cheap on eBay. It's Windows 10 without the bloat, without feature updates but with security updates, and with the possibility to set data-harvesting to the lowest possible amount. IMO, it's the only version of Windows 10 that's worth having.

I've been running Windows 7 without updates since 2015 without an issue. That said, $13 USD for Windows 10 LTSC doesn't seem expensive to me: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Windows-10-Enterprise-LTSC-2019-Activation-Key-License/382716568185

    I recently went from 8.1 to 10.
Once it got setup how I want,.. I don't mind.

I was always doing new builds with either W7 or W8.1 and letting the customer make that choice given they can use the W7/8 key.

I was always against W10Beta (after retail that's what I still called it) because I tried it early on for Gaming and had memory leaks and extra worries I didn't want to fix... Then reverted, hearing of broken W10 updates... Thank god I said...

But now, 1.5 years later, its much better, enough to be my daily.

For Windows 8.1 you would need a new license key. For Windows 10 you can use your Windows 7 key for activating AFTER installing. This method is not on Microsoft's website anymore, but it still works and has no ramifications.

Personaly ill stick with W7 for as long as possible. W10 is to full of BS 'features' and 'changes', and has to much data collection as standard.

No. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to the 2010 original, so you shouldn't be lost at all.

Your fingers know best. The best way to know which key switch type to buy is always to type on one.

I myself prefer Blues because I like that tactile bump and noises (so reassuring to know that click activates :D). I hate Reds and straight (non-tactile) switches as a whole because I can't stop myself from pressing them extra hard to make sure I trigger all of my typing, which is tiring. I don't mind using Browns, they just aren't as attractive as Blues to me.

You can't really ask that and get a decent answer. You need to try them out yourself. I suggest ordering a switch testing kit.

I researched which switch type would be best for me for many, many hours. I watched videos. Made posts. I decided that I'd like Blues most, then Browns, and that I would hate Reds. What ended up happening? I can't stand Blues. I hate them with a passion. Used the keyboard for 15 minutes and sold it the next day. Browns feel like mushy garbage to me. I actually like Reds the most, aside from perhaps Blacks which are hard to find. I'm now looking at buying a keyboard with low profile keys and Silver switches.

Nothing anyone will tell you is of any use. You have to try them out yourself.

as a GTX970 user, you will only get avg 40-50FPS on ultra everything settings for demanding games at 1080p.
so its obvious to upgrade GPU then monitor
