I don't care about features i will not use: i don't need quad channel ddr4, i don't need 40 pci lanes. I just need to play games and occasionally stream and a 6/12 260 usd cpu is all i need. If you don't like the product don't buy it, no one is making you

Honestly not a big deal for me, or likely 98% of customers as persistent internet connections are common these days even with entry level DSL plans. 
 
If you can honestly cross your hand on your heart and swear that you play your games without access to the internet for the majority of the time then comment below.

Gotta admit I disagree with comments about the mounting system, the AMD one is far more sturdy and has a backplate, lasts for more re-uses and doesn't have issues with the push mechanism going brittle or just snapping because it's pretty flimsy.

Let me clear some things up to everyone here, AMD posted this to their Facebook. They sent us hardware and that is it. We have never received any pay from AMD or advertising and in no way shape or form did that "Taint" our results.
Our test benches is in the article itself if you take the time to read it. To many people this may not make sense that we aren't making it a CPU bound environment, but if you are a gamer you never want to be in a CPU bound environment. Please tell me any gamer who wants 400FPS that isn't a competitive CS:GO player or the like.
 
Anandtech and many other outlets put CPUs in synthetic situations that frankly put AMD in a much worse light for gamers than they deserve. The amount of people who assume you need an i5 to play dota because its Intel and "AMD is so much worse" shows how uneducated the masses are. This test is to educate people that you don't need to throw money at your CPU till your games run better. 
If anyone here has some constructive criticism, Donny and myself will be looking through the posts

Why is there such an uproar that pcper or ltt didn't get review copies -or other U.S. Based tech sites? If they didn't let them skip it there are always more fish in the see and by fish I mean tech sites.
Personally I hope that they don't send pcper anything and let the miss nda release for a late review...then let's see how unbiased Ryan is after that.

About the PCPer, they make great content - yet we know they also made biased content (some of it was beyond their knowlege, and they still took a chance for it) - and they fucked up... so you don't think brands kind of "black list" some of the content creators? And I'm not assuming AMD did such a thing, we have no idea - we still have no idea when the cards will be released.

Either way, don't be naive - and specially don't feel sorry for content creators who are just mad and being childish, because it's just fucking up their business model. They can make unbiased reviews whenever they have the hardware, the problem is they all want "to be the first"... and all of this fucking rumours are even getting through the press. Ridiculous.
 
Edit: I don't even know Legitreviews... but I guess everyone these days thinks they are entitled to demand hardware for reviews... probably after months of publishing "rumours" about AMD without even trying to confirm with the right sources. It's OK to milk money from unconfirmed rumours of a brand, for MONTHS... so why do they need hardware anyway? If they can live out of rumours, it's all good!
