Hi, I was just looking for some advice as around Christmas I will be building a new gaming rig. These are the specs
OS - Windows 10 (Using an old drive from previous system so let me know if it will work on my new one)
MB - MSI B450 Tomahawk (Bought)
RAM - 2x8GB DDR4 3000MHz(Bought)
CPU - Ryzen 2600 (Let me know if I should pick another CPU as I haven’t bought this yet as I just wanna see the Black Friday sales first)
CPU Cooler - I think I have a Corsair H50 water cooler from my current build (Need ANY advice on water coolers as I did not build my current system that I have and I know nothing about water coolers)
Case - Antec 900 from current build
PSU - EVGA Supernova 600-650W Gold from current build
Ok so I have a GTX 680 which just about runs modern games on low settings but I’m wanting an upgrade.
I have a 1080p 60Hz monitor but I want a GPU that will be good if I choose to upgrade to 1440 or 1080p 120Hz( I don’t know how much better 1080p 120Hz is)
Will GPUs be affected much by Black Friday deals and what GPU would you recommend?
Also any advice on removing water coolers and if they need to be cleaned/refilled?(I haven’t any idea) and whether my chosen cpu is a good choice.
THANKS!
