  1. The phone I dropped in the water was a Huawei Honor 8, not exactly a flagship phone, but it was definitely up top with competing with high grade phones. How much do you reckon replacing a new motherboard and screen will cost, if that's what I got to replace?
  2. Okay, just some backstory to the situation So a year ago my friend accidentally dropped my phone in the water, but he managed to get it back. I was so stupid back then, because I tried turning it on right away. When I got home, it didn't turn on at all. I tried turning it on three days later. A week later. 2 weeks. Still didn't turn on, so I gave up. Fast forward till now. I saw my old phone in my desk drawer and I thought "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if it turned on", so I plugged in my charger and saw a red light blinking. I was absolutely shocked. The phone shouldn't be working at all. So I let it charge for a couple of minutes and it turned on. I was on the "Select language screen", but when I tried touching the screen, it didn't work. So basically, my screen seems to be able to display image and phone is able to turn on, but the touch screen doesn't work at all. In addition to that, you can also see rust from inside the phone. You can look at the image I attached, this is what it looks like. Is there any way I can fix my phone?
