  1. Ehm,that is hard to say mate. Mobo cant corrupt files on the drive itself. However if voltage controller goes AWOL,it can kill anything.
  2. @XRedKiller It is your mobo, nvme support on it is only pcie 2.0 x2, theoretically 1gb/s but in reality it will be more in the 800s.
  3. Yeah i can imagine. 1080TI is a legend. However they pushed memory too far and it is very common to see these issues on them.Once memory degrades over certain point, you can see "aliens" + system hangs . Lowering vram frequency by 100+ mhz will help at least for time being.
  4. @imlou Dont have good news for you mate. These artifacts are typical for gtx1080TI. Degraded memory. You can try to under-clock vram, that sometimes help.
  5. @GabenJr boost clock seems low. Did you use AMD new bios revision?
  6. @exaco Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C16 are rated to run @3000mhz with DOCP (intel xmp) so 3200 mhz is ok. Calculators are used to improve memory timings as ryzen processors benefit from tighter timings.I can pretty much guarantee 3800mhz would never be stable with ryzen 5 2600 .No matter what memory you would use, even sticks rated to run @4000mhz wouldn't do it as second gen ryzen memory controller just cant handle it. Your memory is capable of 3200mhz but without manual tuning you have 50/50 chance it is going to be stable.
  7. @Xquasare Coil whine is fine.It is normal.Usually it become less noticeable after your card has been running loaded for a while.(burn in). Also high quality power supply can help minimize coil whine. If it is too noisy fir you,you can still RMA it but not all the manufacturers will accept coil whine as defect.
  8. Well,if you went with asus mobo their PBO voltages are outrageous. Also ryzen power profile will keep cpu At 4.2-4.4ghz all the time. The thing is 3700x wont go over 90w. I saw 130w with avx but 2700x was doing 188w so 130w is nice and cool.Granted if you try to push high manual overclock with with more than 1.3v and didn't change power profile in windows it would be hot while idle.Intel has better down-clocking.But under the same load at stock settings 3700x is much cooler as both have 3.6ghz all core boost only difference is 65w versus Intel's 95w.My h150i pro is intake as well with 3 corsair LL fans in front of rad and 3 corsair ML fans behind it.As it is 360mm water rarely goes above 34C,so it isnt so bad.I do also have 2 corsair LL in the bottom as intake and another 3 corsair ll on the top + 1 corsair LL140 in the back as exhaust. My zotac RTX 2080 AMP extreme edition happily clocks to 1990mhz and holding 70c with auto fans speeds. (~60%) PS: i never saw 3700x going over 78C even with AVX workload. In CPU demanding titles like Division 2 it holds under 55C.Idle temps are higher than intel's anywhere between 35-45C.
  9. @Defiance_1776 just to make sure by ram primary slots you meant a2 and b2 right?
  10. @orlando690 Short answer would be no.You cant clone sata ssd to NVME ssd in case of boot drive. As drive controllers are different.Windows wont boot. You need to do clean install on nvme and then deploy back up of your files.Just create windows full back up or google any other freeware. For speed testing you can use crytal disk mark.
  11. With stock setting without any kind of serious load it i can probably cool it.I have corsair 360mm rad with 6 fans and it had hard time cooling 2700x running avx workloads. However it can cool 3700x quite nicely :D.For h60 anything over 65w is too much especially in a case of intel shady TPD ratings.
  12. It is a common issue,if you want use freesync you can try to use fps limiter.Set limit to 138fps.In some case it does help.
  13. @Rx_Seraph Pump is dead,so call lagging was thermal throttling as CPU was overheating.Your AIO is still in warranty so RMA,just have a lots patience with corsair support, they are in process of migrating their system and responding to tickets slowly.I have requested RMA on Sunday and still have no answer.BTW All AIOs from corsair in last couple of years have usb connection in order to monitor and control pump, fans and water temperature. EDIT: h60 is also a bit small for 8700k.If you can get 240mm AIO.
  14. @fpo yeah Asus TUF gaming gt501. You can get it on Amazon. It usually goes from 120$ to 150$.
  15. Wait you did clean install of geforce experience before didn't you?Back when you were trying to install drivers and card haven't been recognized.Btw sorry bro, i didnt realize that someone nowadays can have windows so out of date :D.You had to manually disable windows update.
  16. Well at his point i can only advise you to try card in different pc to find out,if the card is the problem. If not mobo has some bend pins probably.
  17. @Xquasare Yeah go figure.Well,it is most likely cpu not making proper contact with sockets pins. Therefore pci express cant figure out the GPU.It does happens sometimes with new intel builds. You will need to re-seat CPU.
  18. Check windows device manager if the card is detected this time.Resolution changed because windows didn't install drivers yet.
  19. @Xquasare just woke up :D,sorry about typos lol.To clarify go to device manager then uninstall card, shut down your pc.Switch PSU off and the take try to re-seat the card.As shown in your screenshot card haven't been detected by windows.
  20. Interesting.Standalone driver in windows 10 usually doesn't work.Graphic driver not compatible with this version of windows is a common error. It seems windows inst detecting card properly. As it shows 0mb of dedicated memory.Try to remove it in device manager, then switch pc off and re-seat the card.
  21. @Xquasare you need to you use geforce experience.Download Just click on link download and install it.
  22. yeap it least now you know for sure it is CPU only :D.Anyway good luck with RMA,as they seems to be out of stock everywhere. PS: once you get working CPU hit me up,mine is clocking really high would like to know if i won silicon lottery.
  23. Second 1st and 2nd gen ryzen had a bug with some RAM modules.Using 4 sticks or 2 sticks in a1 and b1 wouldn't let you to boot or even get to bios.If you will try again use only 2 sticks and slots a2 and b2.
  24. @Inception9269 totally forgot to mention my 3700x had slightly miss aligned pins.It sat in socket with one corner up by 1mm, barely visible but it was there. It did require some pressure to get it into the socket.
  25. Yeah, there is another issue with windows 10 (unless they fixed it already) installation will fail if you have any other sata drive connected while installing windows on NVME drive. By the way you are going to loose license anyway, windows check serial number of mobo periodically so it would deactivate nevertheless.
