  1. I game on my laptop but the SSD is only 256GB so I use an external Samsung T5 SSD. Would this cable be able to use USB 3.0 speeds? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32895460616.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.6eb5e131Ve6I4D&algo_pvid=b0463ad4-9625-4f6a-9fe3-1d93141c8990&algo_expid=b0463ad4-9625-4f6a-9fe3-1d93141c8990-8&btsid=e69e689d-f02c-4eaa-8f59-266fc6240236&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_4,searchweb201603_53 I am using this cable because the right angle is tidier and takes up less space when gaming. I just want to know if this cable/brand is reliable since this is my first time buying from AliExpress.
  2. The laptop that I have has a 256GB. I also have a Samsung t5 external SSD. Does anyone have USB C to USB C cable that is at a right angle? I want one so that the extra cable is out of my way. USB A to USB C where the USB A is at a right angle is also fine as well.
  3. I know this topic has been talked about to death but it there ANY release window for the theoretical "5900 XT". I want to build a new PC but I want to want until a new AMD Card. I'm looking for official information. I want to get the 5700XT but I am patient about these thing. Also, when are the Ryzen 4000 series and 5700m series laptops are coming out? Same as before, I would like official information.
  4. I've posted this before but I forgot to include the link. I want to upgrade to this monitor: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MONTTA3401/Titan-Army-34G6R-34-WQHD-UltraWide-Curved-Gaming-M The specs seems great. I've got the 100hz version: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MONTTA3340/Titan-Army-C34SW-34-UltraWide-Curved-Monitor--Sams. It's been great so far. Would you guys recommend?
  5. Does this monitor have display port 1.4? It says 3440x1440@144Hz but the website doesn't list the version. I am a bit paranoid about not being able to output the advertised resolution. I understand that games may not be able to RUN at this resolution but I just want to make sure that I can output at it. (I am planning on building a PC after CES 2020) https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MONTTA3401/Titan-Army-34G6R-34-WQHD-UltraWide-Curved-Gaming-M
  6. I want to get this particular monitor: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MONTTA3401/Titan-Army-34G6R-34-WQHD-UltraWide-Curved-Gaming-M The website says it has displayport but what version? Is it 1.4? Would I be able to get the advertsied resolution with this cable? :https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CABDNX4008/Dynamix-C-DP12-2M-2M-DisplayPort-v12-Cable-with-Go Also, how would I make sure that any laptops that I purchased in the future would have the right displayport version? I ask this because at lot of the time the spec list doesn't list the displayport version.
  7. I want to buy a gaming laptop and these seem like a great bargain: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NBKASU501022/ASUS-ROG-Zephyrus-GX501-GTX-1080-Slim-Yet-Mighty-G?type=ex-demo https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NBKASU731009R/ASUS-Remanufactured-ROG-Strix-SCAR-III-G731GV-EV00 https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NBKMSI659716/MSI-GL65-9SEK-RTX-2060-Gaming-Laptop-156-FHD-IPS-1 What would you guys say? I haven't seen any direct comparisons between the 2060 mobile and 1080 max q which is what I'd like to see.
  8. I've made this post before but left out some details. I live in New Zealand and want to purchase and RTX 2070 laptop. (I move around a fair bit so a laptop is ideal for me) I was looking at this laptop here: https://www.justlaptops.co.nz/infinity-s7-8r7-i7-8750h-32gb-1tb-ssd-rtx2070-silent-mechanical-rgb-kb-12172 The $3200 NZD price along with the RAM and SSD upgrade make this seem like a really good deal for me. The problem is that I can't find any reviews for it. The closest is one by Jarrod's Tech but that's the 1660Ti version. The main problem I am concerned with is thermals. Is this laptop worth purchasing?
  9. Hey guys. I found this laptop online: https://www.justlaptops.co.nz/infinity-s7-8r7-i7-8750h-32gb-1tb-ssd-rtx2070-silent-mechanical-rgb-kb-12172?sort=p.price&order=DESC Is this brand reliable and should I get it?
  10. Which Monitor would you guys recommend? This one: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MONTTA3401/Titan-Army-34G6R-34-WQHD-UltraWide-Curved-Gaming-M Or this one: https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/34-samsung-4ms-100hz-curved-wqhd-freesync-monitor/27591962?gclid=Cj0KCQiAxfzvBRCZARIsAGA7YMxtfOEafD89_0R7RJd914SARUYwNPCRsexusWEFMXutVc7bhbfQdzMaAoDqEALw_wcB I don't care about money that much and like the Samsung one because of the VESA mount along with 1440p resolution. But the brightness difference is a point of contention.
  11. I know the logitech MX Ergo has "Unchangeable buttons" like the two shift buttons and DPI change button and supposedly this can't be changed but is it possible (Through 3rd party software or other means) to change this. I am thinking of buying it for gaming and the extra buttons would be great. Also, has anyone got any ideas on how to keep my G613 from gathering so much dust?
  12. Is it possible to make a custom gaming mouse to whatever shape and if so, where? I Really like the shape of trackball mice but my thumb gets cramped after a while.
  13. Hey guys, I want to build a custom gaming mouse because I love the shape of trackball mice but not the actual trackball part (Because my thumb gets sore). Is it possible to modify a trackball mouse to work like a normal mouse or can I make a custom mouse with the shape of a trackball mouse?
  14. Is it possible to make a custom gaming mouse to whatever shape and if so, where? I Really like the shape of trackball mice but my thumb gets cramped after a while.
  15. Hi guys, I'm looking for a new gaming mouse. The problem is that a lot of mice don't have a sufficient pinky rest (On the right side of the mouse. Something like the ROCCAT NYTH: https://en.roccat.org/Mice/Nyth or the FUNC MS-3: https://www.newegg.com/func-ms-3-r2-ms-3-revision-2-usb-wired/p/N82E16826247003 look like they'd fit the bill. However I would very much prefer to have a wireless mouse because of my setup.I have a small desk which is taken up by the monitor and a key board (I use a laptop). Any help is greatly appreciated. A mouse with the SHAPE of a trackball would probably be perfect.
