  2. I use Sony XBA-2 which I payed AUD$120 for. Must say after owning them for over a year I've really enjoyed them, audio quality hasn't degraded over time and the general wear and tear only seems to happen around the right angle connector. I reckon these would be a good comparison to go against these Sennheiser's
  3. Thanks for the reply guys, plenty of variation. The renderer that I'm currently using is mental ray, but coming in the near future I pretty sure it's going to switch to Arnold renderer like in industry. As far as I know, I know that mental ray is extremely GPU intensive depending on the type of Poly model you aim for. (Eg. Hard and Soft) @Nineshadow Thanks for the suggestions, I don't need the case or the case fans though. I've already spent $300 worth on the case and case fans that I have now, and I don't want to throw them away since the fans I installed are much better than stock. Though your suggestions seen pretty close to what I may get @Firenetics I don't think I could go with that build. Newegg doesn't ship to Australia I'm pretty sure and the shipping from the US is a joke (around $200 shipping cost), also, is the Ram. I want my new rig to be as stable as the one I have now. So preferably I would like everything to be optimal out the box. @nukturdukk84 your GPU suggestions are way out of budget but thanks. @Barodil thanks for the suggestion. I think the 5820k seems to be the budget sweet spot for me. I think that the 2 cores and 4 threads more than 1150 platform, and only costs a bit more
  4. So to put it simply. I'm currently a college student who studies 3D Art and Animation, I recently scored a job at a 3D printing company that is about to reposition me as a designer and I'm also a PC gamer. Oh yeah I live in AUS. The programs I currently use are Maya 2015, Mudbox, Zbrush, Photoshop, Adobe Premier. So what I'm looking for is a Rig that is capable of rendering at a relatively fast rate, has 16Gb RAM minimum, A CPU with hyper-threading, preferebly running on the 1150, 2011 or the new 2011-3 platform that still doesn't skimp out on performance when it comes to gaming, so I'd rather skip out on Quaddro GPU's because im not prepared to spend AUD$600-800 on poor gaming performance. Aesthetics mean everything guys, so I'd like to stick with the white and blue theme I have now. The rig i have now is okay, but I can really feel the hurt when im rendering out 720P shots in Maya where the CPU maxes out, the RAM gets abused and get nearly 0 ability to multi-task during batch renders. Gaming-wise, the rig is still a 1080P crusher. Any suggestions will be welcomed.
