    There's no simple way to do so w/o reprogramming or resoldering. And you can't create new "custom commands" on such remotes (including colors), unless it's included into controller (which would cost a heck ton of money then).

    Remove the sticker so you can see what is behind "Model: ???????", then google the model number.
     
    It looks like it came from an HP machine.
     
    edit:  when you google the HP part number L17246-001, it comes up as a 1tb drive

    freenas should do that just fine. Its pretty simple to just add a samba share and isntall nextcloud.

    You can try unraid or freenas, or just run ubuntu server/centos.
