  1. I just have some questions, undervolting only works when Throttlestop is running am i right? So if i close the application the system runs like normal? The thing is if my laptop crashes but i did not make Throttlestop start on startup my laptop will boot normally as though the settings weren't applied right? Cause i read online about peoples pc being unable to boot due to undervolting.
  2. Wow, i undervolt by 49.8 and the temp drop to 65-75
  3. It will not hurt my system but its not good for my laptop? What if i do it like maybe 1hr a day for a period of maybe 4days only cause thats about the duration it takes for my PC to be fixed. CPU: I7 - 8550U RAM: 8GB Intel UHD 620 Does undervolting voids the warrenty?
  4. I have to send my PC away for repair and i am planning to play Dota 2 on my Dell XPS 13 9360 on the lowest setting. I read some online sites that the laptop is suitable for playing this games on the lowest settings. So I ran the game and tested the Temp of the CPU went to 100C and lingered around 85-95C. The game runs fine even on this Temp but im just worried about damaging the system. Isit safe to play ? Sorry if my english is bad.
  5. I found the Resume by PCI option in BIOS. I dont see any allow power on after shut down though. Is there any negative things other than constantly consuming low power?
  6. I found the one in system i believe but i can't find the one in BIOS. For system under the lan connection properties theres only 1 option that is left unchecked which is ONLY WAKE BY MAGIC PACKET does the ONLY matters? Nice okay ill go turn it on EDIT: "Resume by PCI/PCI-E Device" this is WOL for BIOS? and also allow power on after shut down?
  7. I made a mistake just now, it happens randomly, is there anyway i can test it other than getting a new PSU? Cause according to the shop the problem did not occur a single time after i left it there for 4 days. The problem is i don't have another PSU, is there a way i can test it without another one? In case of it being my house problem. Fast boot use to cause me problems but i have turned it off beforehand, I can't seem to find BIOS(allow power on shut down) though. I'm using MSI B350 Tomahawk Artic.
  8. I just tried it , apparently its happens randomly. Cause it just happened but when i did yesterday there wasn't any issue Corsiar AX750 5years
  9. Yes it will be as though there is no issue to begin with. This will only occur tomorrow
  10. My PC will not turn on on the first boot of the day, there will be no signs of power when the power button is pressed, but if i unplug the PSU power cord and plug it into another outlet it will power on and works like normal for the rest of the day even if i shut it off and power it on. The next day the same issue will occur and i will unplug the PSU power cord and plug it back to the Power outlet that was not working the the day before. Things i have done: Jumpstart the PC via the motherboard Sent the PC to a repair shop to check if theres anything wrong with it especially the PSU, was told no issue with the system. Change PSU power cord Any ideas what can be the problem? I read somewhere online that it resets the grounding but i cant find it again
  11. HELP PLEASE, after 4 days the PC repair shop deemed that there is no problem with the PC and suggested i change the PSU power cord, as they did testing with their own. After changing to a new one and used my PC for a day, the next day the same problem occured again. Now im at my wits end as to what the issue could be. I read online saying that it might be Power Outlet but im not sure how to test it or what to tell the electrician.
  12. Would there be alot of issues happening after OC? From what i read online sometimes there will be occasional lock up. I'm also using the stock cooler from AMD Ryzen Wraith Spire, i don't think its good enough to cool the CPU right?
  13. I tried the XMP profile before but it didnt work, I try it again after updating my BIOS.
  14. Okay, how about changing just the ram speed cause the one i bought is 3133mhz but my motherboard sets its default to 2133mhz. I tried doing it myself before but either the PC does not boot past the bios or the values reset on my next boot Oh i think i didn't explain the PC Store well enough, Its a store that sells individual PC Parts, helps to assemble repair and also overclock our PC. but from what @Jurrunio said its best if i did it myself instead of letting them do it. If i was to do it myself i probably hold it off till next year or something as its quite inconvenient for me to bring the whole PC to get it diagnosed if i fail to OC it properly
  15. Regarding the lockup, I assume its a normal occurrence that i can resolve by waiting or restarting my computer? My computer is currently being diagnostic for some power issue , but as of what the repair shop says there's not issue. I'm planning to ask them to help me overclock judging that it doesn't look that bad to overclock. Is there anything i should tell them? Im planning to have my PC overclocked by someone that owns a local PC shop, I tried changing ram speed before but it didnt work so i dare not try
