  1. I know. I've tried putting the whole path, moving it to the project file, moving it to the project file and still putting the whole path. Still get errors. Because this is actually homework I don't have time to mess with it to much so I'm just gonna try TextIO
  2. I'm just getting some "cannot find the file specified" errors. Think I'm just gonna get TextIO to make all this simpler. Thanks anyways.
  3. lol I understand the concept and have already done other programs without help but I've spent two days trying to figure this out on my own. My biggest problem is assigning values from the file "textdata.txt" to the variables. I haven't seen any examples of this using the scanner class. If you can help me out with this part I'd really appreciate it.
  4. How can I write the following code using java Scanner instead of Text.IO?
  5. Thanks a lot. Wasn't sure about cinebench but it worked great.

  7. That's why I got it. I was just wanting to try it out for myself since I'd never gotten the chance before but don't have time to play a game. My last windows computer was some random HP that over heated using ms paint and would randomly die. That was from '02-05 (not including the HP laptop we had that would literally burn your legs). Since then I've been borrowing my mom's MacBook pro's over the years until I got my own (already used) MacBook air (2011)
  8. Thanks. Really liked your suggestions, it really helped a lot.
  9. I have a gtx 1080ti, intel core i7, and 32gb ram. I've never had a computer near this powerful (by far) and I don't have any pc games right now and don't care to download and play one for a while since I'm trying to focus on my classes and work. I'd just like to know if I can run a quick test for comparison and keep track of my progress as I upgrade it.
  10. I'm going for a white setup so I'm in the market for some peripherals that'll match. Preferably no metal, customizable switches (I wanna be able to pop them off and not worry about soldering them). Wired or wireless if fine, so is rgb led or no led. I'd love to hear from personal experience how well a specific mouse or keyboard is to clean or keep clean too. Also any advice on headphone stands or storage that might match would be great.
  11. What is the best benchmark software? I have a prebuilt system and would like to see what it's got before upgrading anything. Any suggestions?
