Yeah Linus didn't like it, it's because he doesn't understand it. It's an awesome phone if you use a keyboard on a regular basis (like texting or emails in a heavy use function) and the security is up to the usual corp standards.
I love mine.

dude 70c is totaly fine for a gpu temp mine runs near 80c

S8's can be picked up cheap and are similar enough to the S9 

I'm not too familiar with the low end phone market but I know you get get last years flagships for near that price point. Pixel 2 XL can be bought for about $500 and thats a solid phone.

^this but in light of the how cheaply made some of the tabletops are; I'd suggest trying to get a countertop and otherwise doing the same thing.

On many larger gpus sag kinda can't be avoided. 
It's normally nothing to actually worry about besides it not looking great, but you can add something underneath it to support it if you have a psu shroud. 
 
I used a red jenga block previously and now use a piece of hardline tubing

Sag is normal
 
1. Did you lock the I/O shield of the graphics card to the bracket of the case with a screw?
 
2. You could use a cane or a stick or anything tall enough to support the graphics card from below.

GPU sag will be a thing when GPUs are nearly 12" long, with 2+ pounds of metal on it.
You can get some kind of GPU support brace, or use a bit of clear fishing line, to help hold the GPU up.

Almost all of them will be on sale, it's Black Friday after all.  Cyber Monday will also see good sales.
 
Get all the clearance ads when the days arrive and go nuts.
