  1. I seem to have fixed the stuttering by wiping the SSD which win7 was installed on and installed win10 instead. The cpu usage remains the same(spikes up to 100% very often) but there's no stuttering at all? Anyhow, I'm glad that the game's smooth now even though I didn't really locate the problem.
  2. Thank you for your replies everyone, I guess it'll have to do until I decide to upgrade my hardware.
  3. Yes, but this is also the only really high demanding game that I play. Tried with absolutely nothing running in the background except for the necessary, didn't make a difference at all.
  4. Hello everyone, this problem has caused me a headache today and I've yet to find a solution. I've monitored my CPU load in the game Hunt Showdown and apparently whenever it hits 100% I get this horrible stuttering that goes away when the load's at ~95 and under, it happens both when I'm in a small area and out in the open(although it's more intense when im outside roaming). I do realize that the game is still in not yet fully optimized and that it might not be a problem on my end, but a couple of players do not seem to have this problem with similar specs to mine. A new performance patch was implemented today but the problems still there. So far I've tried: Monitoring the CPU load while the no applications are runnning to be sure that the game is casuing this. Scan with both malwarebytes and Bitdefender, clean. Also tried disabling the antiivirus. Updating windows and nvidia drivers (tried 4 different versions). Reset the overclock on both cpu and gpu. Every possible graphic option combo in-game, only thing changing was the GPU load. My specs are: win7 i5 4690k @4.6ghz 1.23v gtx970 4gb, slight oc 12gb ddr3 ram 1600mhz asus z97-a 2x250gb samsung evo 850 ssd / 4tb hdd 750w evga psu The temperatures seem stable, any idea what might be causing this problem?
