  1. Hey guys, planning to buy new monitor for graphic design work. Thinking about DELL UltraSharp U2717D but there is some 4k monitor for around the same price ( for example LG 27UD59 ) which is better and why? Or maybe there better option for around the same price?
  2. Hey guys, as I am moving to bigger space later this year, started thinking about making my setup more comfortable for my usage. Now I have ~12year old monitor/tv ( philips 220T ) , which is now not enough for my work ( graphic design ). So I am planning to have dual monitor setup. Thinking about one for work, and one for gaming as I will update my graphics later on. So maybe you can recommend me something. Thinking about to spend 150-200 euro per monitor. for work thinking about Dell UltraSharp U2415 and don't know bout gaming. refresh rate is priority in this case i think, correct? also adding my computer specs : i5 4670k r9 280 24gb ram b85m-g MB
  3. I think ~400-500 euro ( around 600dollars) for both
  4. the cheaper the better, size also the bigger the better I think open to everything
  5. hey guys, planning to upgrade my ~10 year old monitor/tv ( philips 220TW ) as I plan to move out and have more space. Thinking about one for work ( I am graphic designer,so colors matter ) , and one for little game ( refresh rate is main thing I think ). Currently rocking i5 4670k/ r9 280,so don't think that 1440p is the right choice ( maybe gpu upgrade to play 1440??? ). What you can recommend?
  6. okay,to make things more clear few questions : Does gpu really affects adobe performance? cuz I don't play games at all,and I don't think that gpu upgrade>cpu upgrade ( maybe I am wrong, enlighten me ) Does b85 really is not ready for overclock? I am founding information that is not recommended, but thats not always impossible I am still pupil, and graphic design is still just a small side job to make some cash. I am from Lithuania where prices are way higher than yours ( probably, not sure about tech, opinion formed based on other products )
  7. Hi everyone,I have my PC for about 4 years now. The question is : what to upgrade to increase performance on graphic design ( photoshop/illustrator/lightroom ). games is not priority so I don't think that the GPU upgrade is necessary. My thoughts is to change motherboard, buy cpu cooler and overclock cpu,and add more RAM. so the build is : i5 4670k ( stock cooler ) asus r9 280 8gb 1600 ram b85m-g 120gb samsung 840evo 1TB seagate HDD ( enough ,still 650gb left )
