I used to be all about animals, and still am. Technology took over as the major fascination in my life starting in middle school. I Googled how to delete my history, and just never stopped learning!

  1. For anyone who finds this in the future, the issue WAS drivers I guess. After completely wiping my Crimson drivers and installing Catalyst, I am seeing 99% GPU usage when folding, and ETA for the new Work Unit is 8 days. Disappointing that I have to use old drivers for it to work, but I'm looking to upgrade to an RX480 for Black Friday so hopefully Crimson drivers work there. EDIT: After giving it like half an hour to work, GPU Work Unit ETA is now 15 hours not 8 days. So, we're good!
  2. I've set CPU threads to 4 in the config, and restarted my PC, but CPU load is still at 100%. I reinstalled Crimson (not Catalyst) drivers, and my 2% progress that took all night on my GPU reset The odd thing is it IS running just extremely slowly, and it is detected properly.
  3. Hello LTT forum, I'm tying to get back in to F@H after a 4 year hiatus, and I must be doing something wrong. I have two work units running, one for my i7 4770k (CPU usage 100%), the other for my HD 6950. The problem is my 6950 is seeing only ~3-5% usage while F@H is running, and says 12.64 DAYS remaining for the work unit, while my CPU says 21 hours. I'm running the "beta" crimson drivers if that makes a difference, but I figured I'd see if there's something I did wrong before going back to horrible Catalyst Control Center.
  4. Thanks for an awesome giveaway Tesoro and LTT! If I win I'd like the Sagitta Spectrum mouse so my girlfriend doesn't have to use her cheap wireless mouse for CS:GO. Though maybe I'll just give her mine and keep the Sagitta for myself
  5. The Kiro would be sweet for my girlfriend She's lefthanded and stuck with an old PS/2 mouse for her gaming pc. Thank you LMG and Roccat for an awesome giveaway!
  6. It'd be awesome to host a small Minecraft/web server on - decently powerful and low energy! Sure beats having to leave my computer on all day whenever friends wanna play on my servers. And actually now that I think about it, my girlfriend's been wanting her own gaming PC for a while now. Perfect for saving space in a college dorm!
  7. Definetly the Nascita is my favorite, man is that one gorgeous mouse! I like the simple elegance to it compared to other gaming mice (looking at you Mad Catz), and I've been needing a new mouse anyways Fingers crossed!
  8. Awesome giveaway guys! If I were to win, well, I'm more of a power user than a gamer so it'd be really nice to have the extra kick. As a highschooler very interested in everything technology, it would help me further my understanding in fields like software development, or setting up virtual machines to practice/learn security concepts by giving me the extra oopmh required for such a task. Admittedly, I already have a nice system (i7 4770k), but it could never hurt to have a little more power! Plus maybe I'll finally have an excuse to scrap my current build and start fresh.
  9. It looks pretty darn menacing showing people you mean business.
  10. Awesome giveaway! The folks at HTC really know how to get you excited (also thanks to you Linus!) I'd say what I like most about the phone is just how solid and sexy the build quality is. You mentioned how it felt like a serious peice of hardware to hold it, that's exactly how I imagined it'd be. I want to be able to feel the power of technology and engineering in my hands, and there's no better phone for that than the HTC M8.
