CancelShredWasted got a reaction from kelvinhall05 in Henlo Frens
Hello Forum,
I am a new member. I mainly just go on craigslist but old parts (10+ years) and see how hard I can overclock before they melt. I have been doing this for 6 years now and figured it was time to say henlo. Have I come to the right place? For judgement i currently have a MD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor Dual-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM2 125W running at 3.6 (cant make faster without instabilities took me 3 months to get 3.6 and some actual hardware mods (adding a another power and ground plane, cant even remove now without destroying the die) and a gtx 660 OC to 1.1 ghz. KInda just looking for a place to post my jank. Any and all feed back welcomed!

CancelShredWasted got a reaction from seagate_surfer in HDD life span
Hello Seagate_surfer,
The comments made me worried that they were reusing old drives, but all 3 in pool running fine. I am going to replace the last super old HDD with a bigger drive when I have the cash. Thanks for all the help!!

CancelShredWasted got a reaction from AntiTrust in Case Choice
Hello Forum,
I am debating between the two cases in the picture. One is an Antec that is fairly old and the other is a Smiths 2014 original. The one on the left offers better air flow and dust protection (plus some sick LEDs) while the smiths offers the ability for external cooling (such as placing on top of an AC). The smiths offer housing for 2 power supplies, up to 30 HDDs and the ability to fill all expansion slots while the Antec seems to limit me. Any and all advice is appreciated!
Thank you,

Ps also debating a Dell Dimension XPS266 it is the best looking but will require the most modification

Hello seagate-surfer,
All of the drives passed the various test, but 3/5 started clicking. I believe it is time to look for a new drive. Thank you for the help! Will look for a segate perhaps.
Thank you,
