  1. Hello I am looking to expand my storage with a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB. However, I already have a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB. My problem is that I am unsure whether or not my motherboard will fit both M.2 SSDs. I have the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi, and I can see that there are two SSD slots, but one looks longer than the other. I have my current SSD in the top one, so I am unsure whether or not a 980 Pro would fit in the smaller one at the bottom. I would love some help to figure this out.
  2. Okay, with a deeper dive I see that there are important differences between the two models. I think that my money would be better spent on the Intel model, so I think that is what I will do.
  3. My brother and I are discussing, if it would be better to spend the extra money now. He thinks that it is better to spend the extra money for a better CPU, so I am sure I do not get something more or less lackluster that will not last me for very many years. I think that I will get a very good laptop either way, so it may be better to save the money for something else. Benchmarks seem to suggest that the Intel has a significant performance advantage, however I think that it may not be necessary to spend so much money, as the Ryzen CPU still is a pretty good processor. I can afford them both, but it is more a matter of value in regard to what actually will be used.
  4. I am getting it for school, so my primary use will be light tasks on Chrome, Word and so on. Also a bit tougher tasks with some math programs and such. Gaming performance is not really relevant. I also want to futureproof, so I do not have to get a new one for quite a few years. In general, just good performance for years to come in some light to moderate workloads.
  5. Hello everyone, I have been looking at laptops recently and went to a few tech stores to try some out, and I found out that the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 pro (non-X) best suits my needs. However, I have troubling finding out which CPU I want it to have. I am purchasing it in Denmark, and there are two models at a reasonable price: - One with i5-12500H, LPDDR5 memory, and it was released in 2022 - One with Ryzen 5 5600H, DDR4 memory, and it was released in 2021 At first, I wanted to buy the Intel one, as they were previously the same price, however there is currently a sale, where I can get the AMD laptop for what is equal to around 790 USD, while the Intel version costs closer to 1100 USD. These prices are a bit high, as it includes a 25% tax on the product. My question is whether I should buy the one with the Intel processor for the higher price, as it is newer and, according to UserBenchmark, has around 40-50% better performance Or I should buy the one with the AMD processor, as it is cheaper and still a good CPU. 6. I also looked at the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro with the Ryzen 5 5600H - is that something good?
  7. That could be a possibility. I do prioritize Windows laptops, as I heavily use the Microsoft Office programs, but I am open to a bit of Mac.
  8. I would prefer buying products in Denmark, as we have more preferable return laws and such. And it would generally be easier to buy here than buying from outside the country.
  9. Hello everyone, I am currently looking for a laptop to use for school, and I find it difficult to find a proper one for what I need. I have a few requirements It should be thin and light - preferably 13-14 inch screen I do not care whether it is Ryzen or Intel, however it should be some of the newer generations e.g. Ryzen 5000 I do not care about it for gaming. It is simply just for school and a few school related programs such as Maple for math and so on. I have a budget of around 8000 DKK (1150 USD), however, as I am buying it in Denmark, products have a 25% sales tax applied onto them, so it would probably cost around 950 dollars in the US. I previously found the Asus Zenbook 13 OLED UM325 with the Ryzen 7 5700U, and that pretty much perfectly fit my needs. I could find it at an affordable price point, it has good specs and it was very thin and light. I had slight concerns regarding the OLED display due to screen glare and burn-in, but that was not a huge concern. I did end up doubting it as a choice, as it can barely be found in stock anymore due to it being discontinued. I could buy it, but it would perhaps be a risky choice seeing as no new models are being made. I hope you can help with some suggestions or information to help me with my choice
  10. I just find it odd, since it used to max out at around 67 degrees.
  11. I have attached an image of my temperatues and such from HWMonitor, if that is any help. The 'Hot Spot' still seems a bit off though. This is only in a heat of 23 degrees Celsius. My CPU is also not affected as much, as it lies around 60-70 degrees. Are you sure that this is normal? It has been some time, since I had much to do with computers and such, so I apologise for doubting this so much. I just find it a tad odd.
  12. All right, great to have an idea of why
