@SpookyCitruss recommendations look great but for a few things you might want to think about:
PSU: with your config a 600 to 650 W PSU would be fine. If you plan to get a bigger GPU you might want to stick with your 750W one. RAM: DDR4 is still quite a bit cheaper than DDR5 same goes for a fitting motherboard. If you don't plan to reuse some parts in a future setup you can think about going with DDR4. I don't have the exact numbers but the performance loss isn't  THAT big and you can save at least 60$ that way. Motherboard: if you don't need anything from the Z790 series you could again stick with an old Z690 (you need DDR4 though and probably a bios update) Last thing: Do you REALLY plan on overclocking your system? If not you can save again by going down to a non K version with a cheaper H670 Motherboard and CPU cooler. I know quite a lot of people that bought the K versions and never overclocked their systems anyway. If you don"t overclock a K series its just a few % faster than the non K version. And the non K is usually quite a bit more energy efficient.

It definitely doesn't come with the needed accessories.
I gues you'd just have to buy a Riser cable like this one
    http://www.phanteks.com/Riser-Cables.html
But even with that it doesn't have the optionaly (but recomended none the less) mounting holes on the PSU shroud. That would mean, that your GPU would only be held in place on the back. Sure that will work, but don't even think about moving the case around with the card installed that way. Not even taking about GPU sagging...

All in all I wouldn't use it with a vertically mounted gpu (without some case modding)

If you don't mind the slightly lower Battery life compared to other laptops and the darker Screen I'd try to find a Lenovo E485. It should fit in your price range and is a beast for its price.

Many modern motherboards support pretty much anything on any outgoing 3.5mm jack. So you could probably plug in any audio output device. But to know for sure I'd need to know which motherboard you are talking about
Yes the monitor works without drivers, but its performance and sometimes even the resolution will be horrible. So do install the graphic card drivers as fast as possible

DON'T EVER use an old unsupported version of windows! They have known security flaws that won't ever be fixed and it is way to easy to get control over them! The only valid way to use a not supported windows version is to not ever connect it to the Internet. And yes hackers primarily target big firms, but many viruses (for example Cryptoviruses) target anyone. And no security updates are not useless. Of course you can gain access to the files with a livelinux but you can't normally gain control over the running system via the network. But if you don't install security patches you will have known open backdoors to your system. Virus creators often create their code with those known backdors in mind!

@draifetee: Win 10 isn't going to goble up much more of your resources than win7. In fact some things might even be faster with win 10. As for drivers a freshly installed Win 10 works way better than win 7 or 8 ever did.
Finally don't use win8. if you compare it to win 7 it is worse and same goes in comparision to win 10

The First question on my mind: what do you plan to do with it ?
    - If you plan to use it as a gaming rig you could get the i5-8600k which is more than enough for basically every game if you are not going to play on 4k.
    - Id prefer a 80+ Gold certified PSU for 10 bucks more which might be cheaper in the long run (haven't done the math so no clue :D). But the quality is usually a bit better.
    - For RAM i normaly take slower ones with a higher CL. That way you don't have to play the silicon lottery and get pretty much the same performance with a higer stability and probabilty to actually work.

1300ny reacted to NickPickerWI in Is this a good deal?
The response time is terrible, but that's typical of an IPS monitor, which you'd want for any kind of graphic design (web/mobile development (maybe), video editing). Color clarity and accuracy is king for anywhere you're creating content.

It will suffer in gaming, though. IPS monitors aren't speedy and aren't meant to do heavy gaming on, that's what TN panels are for (and HDR panels, but...holy expensive, Batman!). Then again, obviously this won't have Freesync or GSync. Other than that, 23" is dinky. But if it's what you're used to already, then it's what you're used to.

For $50, that's pretty OK. I've spent $50 on much more useless things.

as glenalz81 showed you beautifully, you do have a USB2 header on your motherboard. The splitter cable he mentioned is only necesary if you already use your internal USB2 for your case front IO. So if you dont have a case with an extra USB2 somwhere apart from the ones on the Motherboard you are fine. If not buy a USB splitter or a PCI USB2 Card.

It uses more watts than a new one. Apart from that, that is apretty damn good deal!

I just looked up the price I could get on a used gtx 780 , 970 or 1060 and the best deal was at 120€ so 130$ ?
