  1. I love Adam. But Turning a Analog Vinyl signal into Digital. Then letting it get converted by the sound bar into Analog again. Is not the way. Keep the Analog Signal Analog. Edifier R1280TS is the way.
  2. Yeah I know that. And I have no problem doing that. But you can't expect people who just use PC's to do that. If at a certain point the settings don't apply on startup. Be it for whatever reason. Than this is not a long-term solution.
  3. Well clearly that is not the point here. Limit the power to make noise more tolerable is not the solution. Yes I could turn my 3090 down as well to draw 260W to make less noise. And loose a huge chunk of performance I bought it for.
  4. Hello LTT Community, So for 15 years all I used were beefy Air coolers and a good ventilated case. Be it for GPU and CPU For the CPU side I think Air VS Water is debatable. And there are enough test also from you guys going around. Since I am my group off friends pc builder I got some request lately when the prices are sane again to build something. At the moment I own a 3090FTW Yes with the 500Watt Limit bios. But even limiting to 350Watt pull I don't think normal air cooling can keep the noise tolerable anymore. Every time I see the argument Water VS Air it's on the CPU. Or if there are GPU videos they are old from the time these cards didn't pump out 350+Watt. I feel like this could be a good scientific video on GPU coolers and the capability of keeping it cool enough with tolerable noise. Or If GPU air cooling is not enough anymore for these 350watt cards. 3070Ti upwards running loads on stock cooler. Since the 3070Ti could pull 350watt as well easy. I mean most are still stable with good boost under air I would presume. But damn the noise. I feel like I can't in good concious recommend high powered cards without getting a noise complain later.
  5. Now I am just wondering if this is really some Official Corsair response. Or just someone who things they know what they are doing and try to prove someone else wrong. If this is their way of proving a point and not really following the scientific method. They lost mayor points with me.
  6. He is not talking about the general order in the system. More about who gets to dump the heat first in a closed chassie. Jayz video with the open workbench is something different.
  7. I really think this whole thing has more to do with. Corsair Simulating with the "Perfect scenario". Where the heat exchange on their intake rad that is first in the loop is enough to heat up the air that a second radiator that acts as an exhaust rad can not dissipate any more heat. It's just the wrong setup. I would like to know how your chassis temperatures were. And I am not a water cooling guy but hear me out. Would having the exhaust fan as the first radiator in the loop. Using the warmer but still cool enough air in the chassis the get some heat away from the loop. And having the intake fan be the second in the loop. Having to deal with lower temps and cooler air not be the optimal solution? I think about that with the radiator stacked server as well.
  8. Wow I can't bother reading through all this since most posts don't seem relevant to the topic but here is my solution. I actually had this problem with the S7. Try installing Simple System Monitor and check the CPU clock speeds and how many cores are active. The problem I had is that when I use some Software that is CPU Intensive the Clockspeed and Active cores won't throttle down and stay stuck at high afterwards. The S7 should idle in 4 cores @442Mhz and 2 cores @ 9-700Mhz with 2 cores switched off. But what I got was all 8 cores stuck @2Ghz+ while having no workload and the phone starts to get hot and draining the battery doing so. The only way to fix it was by installing a custom Android version on it since Samsung is really slow with their Firmware Updates. There where no active software in the background that drained the battery but the hardware acceleration itself was stuck in high that drained the battery. I could follow up on the XDA forum what had to be changed to ensure that the clock speed would throttle down but that's something Samsung can figure out. If you are willing to give it a try just install vanilla Lineage OS 8.1 with OpenGApps Pico and give the phone another spin.
