Having not used the wireless ones myself hard to be sure. Quick google i find the same as you.

The G502 forums seem to think there is very little in it.
    G502 X Lightspeed vs. G502 Lightspeed (20 days in) : r/G502MasterRace (reddit.com)

Specs say the x model is alittle liter but G604 is heavier then both so for you, thats probally not an issue.

This video not very helpful but its a literally side by side

The ad literally has pictures with dimensions O.o It's a tiny case.

Height is 22.3cm, depth 18.4cm, width  10.4cm this is yout outside size so adjust down accordingly from there.

what size GPU do you want? Mini PCs can be hard to figure out sizing on you will need to lookup each parts size to double check.

All check on PC part picker but its not perfect on mini pcs i think.

Schools  have shelves full of faulty Chromebooks (graveyards). If the fault is a noise (or lack of) when it's returned it is unlikely your sys admin will notice or care.

When they  get a return they will login, reset to factory. They may even have an deployment tool so they literally plug it in and  walk away. They don't spend hours on it clicking  and keyboarding . They might do a keyboard test but even that is probably automated.

Risks involved  in fix yourself are likely not worthwhile when its not your kit.

If it's an older TV with audio jack in then maybe worth trying a 3.5 jack to 3.5 jack.
alongside the HDMI but putting PC to output audio via jack.

If UK based they used to sell them in poundland for £1 , if EU then Dealz maybe the same.

Might not help but would be intresting to see if it treat it as a rawer audio input and just plays it

    Hi Matrix,

I wouldn't build a machine part by part. This is my process..

I pick the processor, then a motherboard to match. This sets my bottlenecks. I then spec Ram to match the processor, I then pick GPU. I lean toward GPU with gaming and towards CPU with computing work loads. Then chuck a case, PSU on for total cots.

I then chuck it all into pcpartpicker and check manufacturer QVL for compatibility

To know what GPU to recommend it would be good to know your other parts
or what you plan to do with this machine.

If anything CloudFlare prevents what is an illegal act in almost all countries (cyber attacks), it could be argued that CloudFlare  whereever it is used always prevents crime, it does not create, monitor or manage the service sitting behind it.

It would be like punishing a antivirus company for keeping virus's off the server that hosts these sites.

    IMO its illogical.

RobinD reacted to HenrySalayne in Can't open case due to stripped hex screw
The first thing you should do is to put some thick and cut resistant adhesive tape around the screws to prevent your case from being scratched (any more).
Try to get some WD40 on the screw's thread to reduce the force needed.

Then use some water pump pliers or anything else with enough force to grip onto the screw head.

You could also epoxy an old allen key into the battered hole.

If this doesn't work you could cut a slot into the screw head with a Dremel tool and use the biggest flat head screw driver available.

Last but not least: use an emergency hammer to shatter the glass and get a new set of screws and a new side panel. There should be replacement parts available. Ans don't forget to capture it on video! 😅

Just to give OP some context to the B550 board suggestion

b450 will support ryzen 4000 (next gen) but will not support the generation after. According to AMD press release earlier this week.

The B550 will replace it and will most likely cover the whole amd ryzen range possible for many generations to come. Allowing for further upgradeabilty

True,  Colour accuracy/gaming can be done on a better spec screen and then have a low spec as a 2nd. As long as your happy to work this into your flow this works well.

TVs are good on a budget but they dont have the inputs you might want and the bigger they are the more they will drain your resources. This is not what i would call a small budget  I think he can squeeze a screen in there for a £1200 (2200AUD)

Had a similar issue with ram with my wifes build using this mb. Windows only recognized 4 out of the 8gb of ram as 'available'. The remaining 4gb showed up as 'system reserved' or something stupid like that...Swapped sticks and ensured was properly seated and voila, it worked. You REALLY have to use more force than one may be comfortable with to seat ram in that mb. Other than that, I've built 4 pcs using the asrock b450m hdv and hdv 4.0 and all of them have been working flawlessly thus far.

@RobinD - Very good recommendation and has everything the OP is asking for.  The K95 Platinum and Platinum XT both actually have USB pass-through.  They might not have mentioned it in the videos is all.

What is your budget for the replacement keyboard?  That will definitely play a factor in options.  Also, any preference on switch type?

How complicated is your the blender scene? Have you rendered this scene on a machine previously?

What your describing typically suggested your machine does not have enough Ram, IK 32GB seems llike more then anyone would need but thats not always the case with rendering.

Does any pop up come up under the top bar during these pauses?

    Hi Kelly ,

I don't work for LTT but they did mention a week ago on the WAN show that they were having tracking issues with Canada post for international orders.

On the LTT redit page they said this:
Hey, sorry about that! We're still working on getting our support process up to speed so it's possible your emails got a bit lost in the mix.

We have found that international shipments can take 2-3 weeks to arrive, so if you're outside of North America you should receive your package within the next week or so. If you haven't received it by the end of next week, follow up with support and we'll figure out a solution for you.

It also doesn't help that Canada Post is adding "tracking numbers" that don't do anything to non-tracked shipments... that's a whole other issue. But that is why that link doesn't work for you.

Fear not! We may falter at times, but we always make sure that anyone who purchases through our store is satisfied with the final result!

    Regards,
    Robin

NB: I hope this helps provide so context. I used to work for a clothing company that is in UK,US,CA, who would quote 4-8 buissness days for CA to US by CA post.
